"That is not a hair question."
"That is also not a hair question."
These guys are kind of funny.
Over reacting is precisely what causes high cost, foolishness, loss of liberty, and ulcers.
I am very careful as I move about the world and work in a highly dangerous line. I do not however over react, I leave that to others.

"These worthless punks don't help elect *your* governor "
No, but if people in Mass can remember that long, these kids may help elect the next one.
What he means is Gen X'ers are well into their 30s by now. These guys are Gen Y'ers, or Baby ReBoomers, or whatever the heck they're being called now.
I thought the press conference was funny, in that anything that makes the media look stupid is alright by me.
LOL, now that's an instant classic. These guys may need a raise for the amount of media they've created for this movie. When it does come out, I'd think quite a few news station will probably do a short story about the movie and tying it to Boston
Then you should leave disposal of what could be a bomb to those fools that have chosen that task.
They are on sale now on EBay. There was one for $5k.
In all honesty, for many of us, this has no meaning. Kind of like a poster of Bobby Sherman to you.
Just because it looks innocent now, it didn't at that time.
Someone made the point about the teddy bear in Vietnam. The Soviets drop tons of toys with small mines in them all over Afghanastan.
"It looked like a toy to me." Said the kid with one hand!
These guys are not funny.
I'm not laughing.
I hope they spend jail time. What is more I hope the idiots who devised this plan spend jail time AND suffer financially.
Some people should stay inside for the rest of their lives, Kinda like Monk's brother.
Feel free to be as paranoid as you feel necessary, but please don't use the power of the state to increase your safety at the expense of my freedom.
Just because EVERYTHING looks like a bomb to you does not mean I give a #$%! K?
Have you been an ass all your life or is this something new.
Its got nothing to do with comfort. How would you be feeling today if you had been sitting in that traffic jam in Boston because these little pie-holes pulled this stupid stunt.
It has little meaning to me. I don't watch much Adult Swim. But it does look like a battery powered neon sign to me. Prolly look real nice in my den.
Are you mr. hair's brother?
Oh good god, quit trying to portray this as a threat!!!
When terrorists start planting bombs on bridges and subways in America, then you'll have a point. The fact is that you fell for the hysterical media coverage and now you are trying to justify your fear by presenting these absurd hypotheticals.
I'd be po'ed at the paid professionals who misidentified a LED sign and let the situation get out of control.
Hey,all you folks who think this was funny...
Next time you're in Manhattan, make it a point to visit the observation deck at the Empire State Building wearing a phony getup around your midsection that looks like a suicide belt...and be sure there are plenty of wires, etc.
And when you're in the elevator going up,unzip your jacket and yell "Allah akbar!
I'll wager that New Yorkers will get a real laugh of of your harmless stunt.
(If you want, you can substitute Grand Central Station for the ESB if you're afraid of heights)
I haven't read down thread yet, but I'm surprised to hear this take so early in the thread.
I agree with you.
Only to morons in Boston (and select Freepers who are possibly Boston natives.) Elsewhere, in New York, LA, Seattle, Atlanta, etc. No one panicked or called 911.
I love this ebay description. The guy comes outside sees it and his first thought is to steal it. LOL!
