Simply a question designed to put him on the spot. I'd like to see the same question poised to all the dem candidates. I'm sure the answers would be very enlightening, if they'd answer at all.
Russert's just a democrat shill in a fat man's suit.
Chris Wallace just asked Brownback if he thinks a Mormon is a true Christian.
Words fail me.
To prevent future morning headaches, get rid of your radio. ;D
My pleasure. Unfortunately, other guests did their job of throwing stones at our Prez. These people always care about throwing stones, like when Rome is buring that King playing violin. See what people like Hugh Hewitt is doing. I think they are conservative MSM.
The questions were all along the lines of "The No Child Left Behind act isn't funding our schools, what can we do?" Or "Traditionally female jobs are the lowest paid positions, what can we do?"
The best part was hearing Hillary sing the National Anthem off key in her screechy voice. Sha apparently didn't have the sense to simply mouth the words. HA!
Huckabee seems to be the only credible conservative candidate worth his muster, would be an excellent candidate in the General Election and stands by his principles.
At this point Conservatives need to band together quickly around a candidate before McCain and Giuliani take up all the coverage and out of all the candidates Huckabee is definitely the best. In fact, he's the best choice for many reasons.
I don't want to bore everybody here with more on Carter at Brandeis, but I just have to share that Carter has answered two questions by blaming his publisher for the title of his book, either having or not having a colon between the words "Palestinian" and "Peace."; and then blaming the editors of the book for a passage which implied that suicide bombing was acceptable until Israel accepted International Law, etc, etc. (my paraphrase)
____
So far I have not seen or heard Dershowitz in this portion of the program. Carter is just answering pre=screened audience questions.
He did a pretty good job of pointing out the taxes were voted on by the people. You can't really complain about it if it was overwhelmingly approved by the public.
I'd like to see him ask that yokel from Minnesota that was just elected to the House if he would run the country as a Muslim country.
I'd like to be in the House when the guy decides to bring out the prayer rug and pray to Mecca three or four times a day.
Will the House just come to a standstill?
>/Rant off.
I think every democrat in Congress who thinks raising taxes is the only way to balance the budget should send any and all extra income to the IRS as a gift. I don't the IRS ever refused to take additional $$$s.
Watched Dershowitz' equal time appearance. He stated that while Carter said many things with which he, Dersh, agreed, when he gave an interview with Al Jazeera, Carter said just the opposite.
Here in Atlanta we don't get MTP or FNS till 10 AM and This Week is on at 11AM.
The dirty little secret is out. What the MSM and ALL the dems mean when they say that all Americans should sacrifice.........is HIGHER TAXES.
The video also showed us that she did not know the correct words.
Good answer to Tim's question on song his band was playing.
No, not "Born to be Wild". "Born to be Mild".
Well, since he isn't, I will go with your strategy.
My point is this: who is going to take care of the decor in the White House, the china and seating arrangements, the Christmas decorating....BILL?
In the sense that the Communists were trying to force their dictatorships on free peoples everywhere, there is a correlation to the hot wars we had with their proxies. The fact that given the nuclear weapons the Soviets had, if they thought they could have caught us with our pants down and their risk could be minimized they would have struck.
Of course, the teacher probably expects to hear how both nations were evil to employ such terrible weapons and the communists were just like us (both afraid of the evil Fundementalist Christians).
The other important thing to take from the book is how a strong morale man can stand up and hold back the evils of anarchy and lawlessness even without the overall society to help. True Americanism prevails.
Right on track as usual AB. My biggest fear in 08 is all the talk about third party if certain 100%er's don't get their way.
I got beat up on a few Rudy threads last week and to hear some of the stupid comments here on FR is very discouraging. Many don't seem to realize that a third party will only elect hillary.
