I am watching Carter have trouble in reading his prepared remarks. No wonder this meeting did not get much publicity before it took place on 1/23.
What Dershowitz may say at this event will be more interesting than what the guests on today's Sunday shows will say.
You 're right. Another prediction: her brother will not be there and LK will not ask anything about him.
Looks like FNS has the only lineup worth wasting electricity on this morning. Other than that, the same worn out faces are making the rounds again. Wonder where McPain is today? Suspiciously absent again.
Woke up happy on a Sunday morning, turned on my radio to hear the news at the top of the hour start with the voice of Hillary in Iowa yesterday, and the "news" that she will be having another event in Iowa today.
Turned the radio off.
Huckabee comes out against open opposition to our efforts in Iraq. Timmy asks if there is anything he differs with Bush about.
He mentions some concern about our use of the National Guard. A nice reply, soft, not nasty.
Timmy is hammering Huckabee on taxes.
Maybe Huckabee is just triangulating and going after the Democrat votes.
Geez! Every Democrat on MTP is praised for "balancing" the budget by wanting to raise taxes.
I'd have thrown the radio out the window.
Well to the MSM that's the ONLY way it can be done.
Thanks for that link, anita. I saw a short blurb about his appearance this morning on Fox, and really wanted to know what he said.
Huckabee is doing a very good job and is not coming off like a southern bumpkin.
Timmy asks if he considers America a Christian nation and would he lead the country that way. Huckabee is ready for him. I think Timmy is going to be upset.
You guys who get MTP later, do try to catch Huckabee. He is very self-confident and prepared. Much better than I expected when he gets to talk about something other than his weight loss. I know virtually nothing about his record and this is not meant to be an endorsement.
He almost agreed with Chris Mathews on HardBall show on our efforts in Middle East. I think he is going after MSNBC crowd.
Well, you don't think they'd cut spending do you? I mean beside Defense spending....
Last November's election was like watching a train wreck before it happened. I knew it was going to happen if many conservatives wanted to punish the RINOs by not voting for Republicans. Given that, it was a sure bet that if enough conservatives sat out, their taxes would be raised. So here we now are!
Then this may be nothing more than slick politics by Huckabee, but he is doing quite well at it.
Barney Fife to Barney Frank.....LOL
My grandson is reading Alas, Babylon in AP English. He has tried to find some 'right' web sites, but has just found 'left' ones. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. He has to tie in how the book relates to the Korean and Vietnam wars.
