Giuliani Is Cautious (indecisive?) as He Weighs ’08 Decision
NY Times ^ | SAM ROBERTS

Rudolph W. Giuliani, who developed a national reputation for decisive and reassuring leadership after 9/11, now faces the odd challenge of having to reassure some supporters that he can be decisive about a very different issue: running for president. Even as his fellow Republican John McCain and fellow New Yorker Hillary Rodham Clinton have all but formally declared their candidacies, Mr. Giuliani has proceeded more cautiously.

And you are talking about intellectual honesty? :-)

Then abortion is NOT an issue. Glad that is settled :-)

Hey, junior, when you support a conservative, then we'll talk, until then, head back into the frat party.

"I have a perfect record, I've never had one and never caused one."

That doesn't tell me what you have done to STOP an abortion.

No that was fine. I actually have probably the same 'values' package as you but I don't feel afraid of Rudy because I believe those social views belong in the states and a POTUS does not have much to say about them. This has been reiterated over and over on these threads.

I just have a real issue with people stating they would not vote for Rudy under any circumstances in which case you are voting for the Liberal and your conservative credentials are meaningless

I would certainly vote for Hunter. I would enjoy a RUDY/HUNTER ticket. I would vote for a HUNTER/RUDY as well.

Abortion certainly is an issue, as is rudy's gun control, gay pride, and the fact he cheated on his wife. The cheating thing alone is enough for me. But, when he comes for law abiding citizens right to defend themselves, that reason to oppose, vigorously, someone like rudy!

Maybe we should come up with a system to indicate "private threads." The moment we come up with a system to do that, I will abide by those rules.

And if have something to say about the Hunter, BY ALL MEANS, let's hear it now... Before I waste more of my time pushing for him. Just go there and englight us, I doubt you will get insulted for it... We want to know :)

This time I mean it, I have to go :)

So how do you feel you have done so far in preventing abortion - if it is truly an issue?

I could go for that. I'd rather Hunter/Newt, but I would certainly vote for a H/G ticket. It won't happen, though, because hunter is a conservative, and rudy isn't.

Why don't we go find the most recent Duncan Hunter thread and start bashing Mr. Hunter

Some are already doing just that. It is sickening that people can get away with bashing conservatives on a conservative forum. But thank you for letting us know exactly where you stand on the whole conservative vs. liberal thing. Noted.

I don't bash HUNTER threads either, I was on one last night and didn't say a word. You all had a good time and I learned a lot, so why must you rain constantly on my parade, hmm?

So, Spiff, you want to trash Rudy - but are feigning real emotion that Hunter might get the same? Out here in Utah we call that hypocricy.

Btw, how do you feel you are doing in preventing abortion. It IS an important issue to you, right?

I'll just keep asking: how do you feel you are doing in preventing abortion? That is an important issue for you Rudy bashers, right? So I think you can at least state how you think the battle is going so far? Have you had any successes?

Appeasement will only get you the lesser of two liberals, and with that, we all lose. Gays and abortions are serious stuff, the forefront of the decline of our society. give up on that, and what good does national security do? Aids, the anal injected death sentence, kill more here than terrorist ever have. Promoting homosexuality like Rudy does promotes aids. Good job, Rudy.

Did you not notice the smiley face at the end? I was being sarcastic. I don't do that and won't do that. I won't bring myself down to your level. Besides, I really don't have anything bad to say about DH. I believe in Reagan's "11th Commandment" about not speaking ill of a fellow Republican.
