on in a few minutes
A Steyn-Galloway debate. I'd pay good money to see that!
Steyn decrying the name-calling in American politics.
Luckily, I was watching when I saw your thread.....boy, he can tell it like it is!!!!
Is that Maxine Waters on the phone now?
LOL.
"Ear marks a-go-go government". I must try to remember that.
It would be encouraging if even ONE of these liberals or so-called moderates would express some support for victory against the war on terror but it just never happens. Makes me fear for the future, I must say.
Fake moderate democrat pretending that he admired fiscal conservatives and criticizing the administration for spending too much. Typical effort to fan the flames of division in the GOP.
"Armies don't win wars - nations win wars."
Put that up against what we heard after 9-11 - we've been attacked, now go shopping.
Steyn says that for a lot of people this is really about their feeling that Bush was illegitamately elected.
That was necessary in order to keep the nation from going into an economic collapse. As one who saw her small antique business go from sales of $1000 a month to nearly zero after 9/11, I was glad to see someone try to get people participating in the economy and not cowering in fear in front of their televisions.
Can you imagine the two of them teaming up, Snow AND Steyn, to handle the PR for this White House.
LOL. Conservative are the enemy.
And even more so after that last caller!
I feel bad for anyone who suffers economic setbacks but look how quickly we went back to a divided country. I maintain the model should have been WWII - - mobilize everything.
I agree with both of you. People should have been encouraged to go about their business, but more was needed from the President than just that admonition.
Steyn is very impressive and articulate.
"Trouble with the mid east is that you had stable dictatorships."
That was TOO SHORT!!!!!
Hey, is someone going to start a live anti-war rally thread? I need to go watch some snow melt . . . or something.
Mark should be considered as press secretary for the next GOP president!
Now CSPAN is showing a memorial for the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 1 fire. I was just a little kid then. What a sad event. I am glad the space program moved ahead and Americans landed on the moon only two and half years later. If only Americans were as united now in facing the enemy.
