Official Iranian radio has completed broadcasting a lengthy series on the imminent appearance of a messianic figure who will defeat Islam's enemies and impose Islamic Shiite rule over the entire world – even speculating on specific dates the so-called "Mahdi" will be revealed.

English-language transcripts of "The World Toward Illumination" programs can be found on the website of IRIB, a public broadcast arm of Tehran.

"Be joyous my heart, miracles of the Messiah will soon be here," reads a poem used to conclude the first broadcast. "The scent of breaths of the One we know comes from near. Grieve not of sorrow and melancholy, as assured I was … last night that a Savior will come, it's clear."

After the coming of the 12th imam, or Mahdi, "liberal democratic civilization" will be found only in "history museums," explained the program.

In a videotaped meeting with Ayatollah Javadi-Amoli in Tehran, Ahmadinejad discussed candidly a strange, paranormal experience he had while addressing the United Nations in New York last September.

What one has to wonder is if he's trying to provoke an attack so he has an excuse to use his nukes - assuming he got Russian or NK devices. For example if Israel were to attack their nuclear facilities and then Iran responded with a nuke they'd claim they were attacked first and justified in their response. Sadly most the world would probably agree.

Try this scenario out:

1. The Caliphate will return.

2. The "Hidden Imman" will be revealed, will unify all Muslim nations and sects (and likely much of Europe), and will then offer a 7-year conditional peace to Israel.

3. The traditionalists in Israel will be allowed to rebuild their Temple, and animal sacrifice will resume.

4. The West will be practically irrelevant due to infighting, and perhaps a depressed economy.

5. Peace, Peace in the Middle East.

6. Israel will drop it's guard, and serious infiltration of Islamists into the populace will occur.

7. 3.5 years into the treaty, the Hidden Imman will declare himself god, and will desecrate the temple, and make severe war on the Jewish people.

8. The Israeli nuclear weapons will be retaliatory against some of these nations, but cannot stop the uprising and slaughter.

9. Severe plagues will strike the earth, meteor strikes, earthquakes, etc.

10. Christians will be severely persecuted, with beheadings galore for refusal to submit to the Muslim rule.

11. The Imman will control what everyone in the world buys and sells via a worldwide monetary system that is centrally controlled in New Babylon.

12. You must take an identifying mark to prove your allegiance to the new Sharia Law system. Failure to do so will bring personal economic ruin, and the threat of beheading.

13. Seven years after #2 above, there will be Armageddon, and the Real Jesus will return.

Of course, Lindsey, LeHay, et al, all assume the "antichrist" will be a European WASP, and the "secret" rapture will occur before event #1 above. This series of event makes much more sense. To wit, how could a European possibly hope to make peace between Islam and Israel, and give rights to the Temple Mount to the Jews?

A lot of people scoff, but I wonder if they consider prophecy? For believers, the Bible does indeed predict an Anti-Christ who will perform miracles, and this prophecy must come true. Ultimately, the entire world will worship Satan (except those with their names in the Book of Life).

For those of us who believe in spiritual things, it is best to study scripture and prepare yourself for the possible appearance of the Anti-Christ. Remember, Christ has already warned us that He will appear in a particular manner. I cannot be sure of His motive for doing so, but I believe it's because the Anti-Christ and his minions will mimic the true Christ (but they won't appear in the correct manner).

So, Am-a-nut-job in Iran may be correct. Some being might very well appear and claim to be Christ and/or perform miracles in our lifetimes. Unbelievers as well as non-Christians (according to the Bible) will be convinced enough to worship this being.

Do you think the world will worship obvious evil? Probably not. More likely, this being will seem to be good and peaceful, and He will certainly be powerful (to the point of convincing even atheists with displays of power). According to the Bible, he will have the appearance of a sheep but will speak like Satan (full of lies).

For this reason, I don't dismiss Am-a-nut-job in Iran. His story sounds awfully close to Biblical end-time prophecy. Of course, unbelievers and atheists will think this is all total nonsense, and even if true, there's absolutely nothing I or anyone else can do to stop it.
