Yes, I believe the evidence.
I'd say you're a pretty good exception, then. I was 13 when it happened, and to this day I have never stopped being interested in the truth of it. Your explanation as to why a government would not allow its own citizens to know the truth of one of the higher-ups in the gov assasination is a good explanation, and actually, I know this. But the frustration of knowing we'll NEVER really know all the truth, details, who did what to whom, where was Johnson, why did Ruby get let in through the garage, what REALLY happened to the interview notes the police in Dallas took when they interviewed Oswald over several HOURS which mysteriously disappeared and NOBODY knows ANYTHING about them, what happened to Kennedy's BRAIN, why were there two different caskets, why wasn't Oswald even breathing fast after supposedly running down HOW MANY FLIGHTS of stairs in the Texas Depository immediately after the shots were fired at the President.........it goes on and on and we're expected to just believe whatever they tell us. Oh well, that's life for ya.
No, you believe the *conclusions*, not the evidence.
Evidence is what it is. It is the *conclusions* that are *drawn* from the evidence that are 'believed' or not and those go both ways.
But, your choice of words to conflate evidence and conclusions are common when one wants to make their case seem stronger than it really is.
Or maybe OJ really didn't do it.
You know what I'm saying?
A high velocity bullet fired into the head of JFK would not cause the head to jerk forward. Instead, the bullet slides into the head of JFK. However, the forward jet stream of blood and the momentum of the brain matter propelled the head backwards. Simple physics. When a jet uses fuel, the engines on the rear of the jet shoot backwards, propelling the jet forward. When a rocket uses fuel, the engines on the bottom of the rocket shoot towards the ground propelling the rocket in the opposite direction, towards the sky. Watch a rocket or a jet taking off and you will see what I'mtalking about.
Also watch the Zapruder film. When an individual is shot, the entrace wound is a very small hole. However, the exit hole will always be larger than the entrance hole. Have any of you every shot a pop can? The entrace hole is small, while the exit hole is larger. Same thing with the zapruder film. The right, front of JFK's head is blasted out. The brain matter and blood spills out of the front of his head. The brain matter and blood never spills out of the back of the head. Therefore the shot came from behind JFK causing the exit hole in the right, front portion of his head. Have a look for yourselves.
They're not keeping everything secret. They're witholding information incidental to the fact that Oswald murdered JFK to protect the privacy of witnesses more than likely.
I always wondered that if somebody had used oswald as a "lone nut shooter" why not arm him with a more modern rifle/scope combo rather than that relic carcano rhat was found? (to the layman it would have made the shooting more believable and easier for them/us to swallow the "lone gunman" theory that possible conspirators would have wanted.
Except that this is wrong and the 'jet engine' analogy doesn't apply (unless the bullet was rocket-propelled).
The bullet must transfer force from itself to the exiting blood/brain matter which must be torn loose from the matter that remains. That force can only be exerted in the direction that the bullet is originally traveling.
In order for a forward-traveling bullet to push the head backwards, the bullet would have to be rocket-propelled and the energy from the rocket exhaust would have to be transfered from the bullet to the head. Didn't happen.
OK, but as a publically traded company Halliburton has to reveal its largest shareholders.
In order that those witnesses are not suddenly missing from the breathing population? I misspoke when I said they're "keeping everything secret". That's wrong. They're just keeping those parts secret that would allow us to connect whatever dots are necessary in order to draw a salient conclusion as to the whys, etc., plus a few perhaps well-known names that may be, even to this day, enjoying their anonymity courtesy of the U.S. Government. The Warren Commission Report - hahahahaha.
Ladybird's stake was in Brown & Root, a general contractor.
Halliburton (an oilfield services company) took control of Brown & Root in December, 1962...and Ladybird became a minority shareholder.
Here's another analogy for you.
Dishes on a tablecloth. Jerk the tablecloth out from under the dishes. Do the dishes *ever* fly *backwards*?
Tie an apple to a string and shoot it. Does the exiting bullet and matter *ever* 'propel' the apple backwards?
Never.
Neither does matter exiting a gunshot wound ever propel anything in the opposite direction.

Now, I ain't saying I'm buying it 100%, but I am one of those "Fidel dunnit" people, and I learned one heck of a lot of good factoids from it.
Darrell C. Tomlinson was the original discoverer of that magic bullet, CE 399. It came from a stretcher, but which stretcher?
Just to give you a bit of background - Connally's stretcher's appearance was described by the orderly named Mr. "R. J." Jimison, who helped move Connally from the stretcher to the operating table. In order to follow the journey of Connally's stretcher we need to pick up in the middle of Jimison's testimony where this becomes the focal point. This segment comes from the Warren Commission Hearings, Vol. 6 p. 126-128.
The book you may have read was probably Barr McClellan's book on LBJ, whose title was "Blood Money and Power". He was LBJ's lawyer during critical years, and is the father of W's former Press Secretary Scott McCLellan. It is very persuasive in certain areas, not so persuasive in others. According to Barr, the triggerman was Mac Wallace. Rather persuasive in supporting that thesis. HOWEVER, the very best thing about the book was its insights and real details about the absolute corruption of Texas politics during LBJ's time: a corruption LBJ helped define and create/ it is worth reading, if for no other reason. Barr cannot positively PROVE his thesis, but it had obviously been weighing on him for decades, knowing the character of LBJ as he did. Very much worth reading, if that happens NOT to be the book you're referring to.
Remember LBJ went to DC a very poor man and left a very rich one.
"Blood, Money & Power: How L.B.J. Killed J.F.K.," ?
"Blood, Money & Power: How L.B.J. Killed J.F.K.," ?
A TV show recently on the History Channel reenacted the "miracle bullet" theory with ballistic dummies. It is very possible if the people are placed correctly as you point out.
I've always believed it was LBJ.
Sometimes the most obvious answer is the right answer.
