Dishes on a tablecloth. Jerk the tablecloth out from under the dishes. Do the dishes *ever* fly *backwards*?
Tie an apple to a string and shoot it. Does the exiting bullet and matter *ever* 'propel' the apple backwards?
Never.
Neither does matter exiting a gunshot wound ever propel anything in the opposite direction.
