That's an important point - a miracle does not make a God.There is so much each of us does on a daily basis that anyone over, say, 300 years ago would have regarded as miraculous (or witchcraft!)...

Don't worry, even if comes back from the dead 10X, I'm still going to laugh at him.

Still plenty of crap happening. Nurses talking, the machine that goes ping!, Doctors thumping the belly, next of kin blubbering (or gloating), TVs blaring, etc. There's plenty of birth trauma and child rearing and such. But the really bad stuff conveniently all happened in past lives...
Poor babies!
How do they ever survive?

My Grandfather was amazed by the automobile, and lived to see 'aeroplanes'.
I'd love to have him here (now?) for a few hours.

It's always a craps shoot. About two thirds of the time conception doesn't result in pregnancy. Most pregnancies are over before the mom even knows she's preggers, etc., etc., etc.
We're the lucky ones.

I wanted to go back before the US style of democracy, since it enabled so much progress.
My Dad started his career as an aircraft mechanic, before jets existed. He now has parts on the Moon, and Mars, and has worked on a lot of nifty stuff we will never know about.
He's still amazed by it all.

"But this is the test - -flog him to within an inch of his life and then hang him on a cross until his lungs collapse and he is very dead (pierce his lungs with a spear so we know his lungs have filled up with water - scientifically prove he is dead beyond a shadow of a doubt..."The real test would be that he'd have to do it willingly, solely for the benefit of everbody else (including everyone that has ever or will ever dump on him)and be praying for their forgiveness during the whole agonising episode.
oh yeah...and come back from the dead.
This article does little more than show all and sundry what a pathetic view of reality scientologists seem to embrace.

During the late 1990s, The Church of the Subgenius folks were a lot like Freepers today. Along with the Cleveland Browns fans, they were a group that you did
not want to run afoul of online.
The stuff they did to spammers that insisted on inflitrating their newsgroups was beyond hilarious.
