I had three teams to root for. The Chargers, The Seahawks and my Patriots. Phooey! No Super Bowl for me this year. :(

Peyton Manning is not A WIMP, for sure! They won and I am so thrilled. The Patriots have been to Super Bowl 3 times....it was time for a change. HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!

I am glad you are talking about those eyes. I noticed it several times...reminded me of the Runaway Bride! Occasionally people who have contacts let their eyes do this. For some reason I don't believe this was contacts. He looked scary!

Congrats to the Colts for winning a hard-fought game. No excuses. The Colts were the better team last night.
The Colts should beat Chicago by a couple of touchdowns and Manning will finally get his ring, then we won't have to feel guilty about knocking Manning out of the playoffs next year. We have a couple of first round draft picks coming.
Trivia: how many players on the Pats 2001 Super Bowl winning team are still on the team? Answer: 3. Brady, Brown and Bruschi.

"The Pats did not give the game away...they had their chance to take it and did not."Nah, they choked. Brady whined to the refs after every missed play, the defense fell apart, the receivers looked like deer in headlights and when Brady threw their last chance away he pulled a Romo and got the heck out of there and left his teammates to congratulate the winners.
Can you say, "Gas pipe"? Yeah, they had it and they gave it away. That's a choke job. A record-setting choke job. No other team has had a larger lead in a conference championship game at halftime and lost. They gave up 32 points in the second half. It was either the worst coached game in AFC Championship history or the biggest choke by a team or a combination of both but the bottom line is that Patriots blew it.
Have a nice day!

Or maybe you're just in the wrong place.

I'm a lifetime Pats fan, was playing HS ball when they founded the AFL and some of the originally drafted guys came around to all eastern MA HSs trying to build a fan base. Loved these guys through all the travails of having no stadium, the Sullivan family, etc.
All I can say is that any professional football team that blows am 18 point lead in a game as big as this one deserves to go home with their collective tails between their legs. Caldwell should be made to carry a football around until training camp, just so he knows what one looks and feels like.
Great comeback by the Colts, they never gave up and deserved the win.
This should be one of the better Super Bowls.

I keep thinking that both Dungy and Smith are good coaches - but they're hardly groundbreakers like Jackie Robinson. I don't know much about Smith, but Dungy has been to a Superbowl before............he played in it..........

Of course, since it's in Miami, it's only Midwestern in the sense that they're located in adjacent Midwestern states.I've long thought that every team in the league should host the Super Bowl, and that no team should host it until every other team in the league has hosted it already. Share the wealth!
