Hillary to campaign against not only Global warming but also KY warming fluid. It is said that her icy demeanor alone can stop global warming and frost male libido with a single glance or phrase.

And their collective viewership: Zilch. Before the internet, that might've mattered. But more people are interested in the playoffs this weekend than'll give a flying fig about Hilliary declaring. This is a boneheaded decision.

I'm not so sure that it wasn't timed this way precisely because of the lack of viewers. It's straight from the clinton war room playbook. For eight years of the clinton co-presidency, they put out on a weekend news they wanted to downplay. It's unlikely they'd now misunderstand and misapply the strategy they perfected.

IMHO, this is calculated to once again insulate her from the public eye--a necessary component if she has a prayer of winning. Every public outing must be carefully controlled. With minimal viewership of original coverage, the subsequent coverage can be manipulated to best advantage.

And come January 20, 2009 it may very likely be that President Hillary Clinton and Vice President Barack Obama will be inaugurated. I remember the 1992 campaign and how the GOP underestimated the Clinton political machine. Bush the Elder just couldn't understand how he could lose to a couple of "bozos"...and he got slammed. WIth the attitude of much of the GOP today, it's likely that we'll get slammed yet again.

The only way she wins is if there is a 3rd party spoiler for the republicans. Like her husband had for his 2 elections.

 

IMO, the one thing (other than the WOT) that we must focus on is this:

In our political system, we really have only 2 choices: Republican or Democrat. All the other candidates and options are mirages: If we vote 3rd party... or if we sit out the election... what we are really doing is placing a de facto vote for the Democrat. We mustn't delude ourselves. We mustn't allow the Left to play us like fiddles.

What's black and white and read all over and is more self-destructive than pre-9/11 thinking?
Pre-clinton thinking, that's what....
Putting doctrinal purity ahead of making sure a defective and dangerous clinton never again controls this country is pre-clinton thinking.
We no longer have the luxury of time or circumstance to massage our sensibilities, to indulge our indignations.
We will not survive another clinton. (We may yet not survive the first one.)
