"This television show is very political, and it's no accident that it's on Fox," said Jhally, who directs the Media and Education Foundation and is professor of communications at University of Massachusetts. "Given their propaganda system, it doesn't surprise me."

"This television show is very political, and it's no accident that it's on Fox,"

So far the "politics" are 3 to 2 Liberal:
3: Karen Hayes and Wayne's sister (bleeding hearts crying about Muslim civil liberties), and gullible family protecting Muslim neighbor
2: Racist neighbor going after Ahmed; Curtis trying to kill Fayed (with good reason)

Say what? Not much of a TV watcher, but I seem to recall that Fox led the way many years ago in lowering the bar on decency and leading to the kind of disgusting trash that calls itself comedy and drama on the airwaves today.

______

Yes, it's politcal. The President is black, his sister is the sole defender of the constitutions, civil liberties and civil rights. All of their comments on these issues are the liberal talking points against the Patriot Act. Yes, it's a politcal show. How did this "writer" not see this but only that the show creates fear of muslims, because he has an agenda.
