Not to mention the decision to go for it on 4th and 11 when they were in field goal range in the first quarter. Utter nonsense!

First time I've seen this interviewer....don't like him.

Why? Because he hasn't tossed any softballs? Did you truly expect any? Be for real.

CBS doesn't do that -- they've already shown that in the past. You walk into an interview with 60 Minutes and the visitors side of the scoreboard lights up. I don't understand why everyone is so surprised and upset here.

This is a known quantity going in.

OMG. When GWB said he was the first to admit he was wrong about weapons of mass destruction (as were others) Pelley rudely added: "you seem to be saying you were wrong, not dishonest".

Now he's wondering if it was satisfaction GWB felt watching Saddam's hanging. I'd have walked out of this interview long before this.

A lot of people have accused him of lying - there's nothing wrong in asking him that question and his reaction to the accusations. You would be demanding the exact same thing if a Dem president was in the firing line.

Honestly, the President is not a wimp, he's handling these questions fine, and is leaving a better impression than if he was only having to answer softball questions from a sycophant.

I heard this week that 2/3 of ALL Repupublicans STILL support this president.

LOL - yes on the Internet. I didn't see that film either and as much as I loathed Saddam and am so grateful he is dead and gone and so supportive of our President in removing him and his murderous regime from power - I did not want to see that video.

" LOL...you must be listening to Prs. Bush...HE is doing great. '

Every response from the President is met like this from Pelley:
" America hates you, Mr Bush,"
" No Americans like this war and they hate you, Mr Bush "
" Republicans hate you, Mr President "

Pelleyosi is actually worse than if Brian Williams was doing the interview.
I would have decked Pelley by now- President Bush has not lost his cool and is amazingly composed in the face of the non stop garbage directed at him by Pellyosi.

WW II was horrendous. I think Russia lost 12 to 16 million on the Eastern front against Germany.

To blame all the instability in Iraq on the administration is not a "tough question"; rather, it is presented as a fact. Meanwhile, no mention is made of the flip-flop by some Dems who called for more troops long ago, but now oppose it without presenting an alternative plan of their own (other that just withdrawing immediately).

It was so annoying for Pelley to keep saying "....YOUR military" and "...YOUR military officers." No doubt Pelley doesn't consider them to be his military.

That was a solid interview. Bush is litterally the best president in my lifetime. And I can remember Johnson fairly clearly.

Not only is there none stop bullying going on in this interview, they are editing in crap designed to reinforce their own position. 60 Minutes is disgusting. Bush had to know that from the get-go.

POTUS handled it well, IMO, despite having to repeat himself.

Agreed. I'd rather see him answer questions from one of the alphabets honestly and openly, and get to the masses than to talk only to FNC; after all, on FNC he's preaching to the choir. He needs to talk to and reach the masses.

Just 2/3? Well - at least it shows that much support. Despite the onslaught of negative press that floods the airwaves, the Internet, and the dinosaur media every minute of every day. I daresay if this President had the favorable media treatment that Clinton received despite Clinton's horrific crimes - it would be close to 100% of Republicans supporting the President - and many Democrats supporting him. I tremble to think of what is going to happen when he leaves office because what person can go through a Presidency and withstand the propaganda onslaught that this President has withstood???
