Thanks, I decided to start taping at the start of the hour just to not miss anything.
I just found this on a missing children's site. Ben was still on the site. This is how Mitchell (the boy who got off the school bus with Ben) described the truck, and this is what they had to go by. Mitchell's observations were amazing:
"A white Nissan pick-up truck was seen in the area at the time. The truck, a 1992-2000 model with Nissan written on the upper right side of the rear tail gate, had rust and damage on the right rear passenger side, a camper shell, no hubcaps and a trailer hitch with no ball. It may have a ladder rack."

Separated at birth!!
They said on Fox a few minutes ago his family has gone heavily into debt in their attempts to find him even had to borrow on their retirement.
I predict that problem will soon be solved also!
that we need to help them!
Your points have been well taken, too, as I've scrolled down the thread and caught up. Unfortunately, I have a grade-school friend (who was an awesome kid, but shy, at the time), grow up to be a kidnapper/molester of a teenage girl. He got her right after she got off her bus, too, in front of her home. The first thing they do off the bat is distract them, and get their attention. After that, who knows?
"We take it easy. We don't pay attention," Smith said. "Because we do pride ourselves (that) we're a quiet neighborhood. We're a loving family neighborhood. We have all middle class America here. I think that puts blinders on our eyes sometimes."
Worth repeating
Thanks!
number is busy and I imagine it will be all day with people making calls. I just hope the money goes straight to Shawn's care!
Halls, the family does need help. The wonderful Step Father could use a Dentist who will provide him with that missing front tooth...FREE.

it was either posted by Shawn or the perv! I imagine the perv posted that as Shawn didn't seem to know anything about it.
Thanks for that clarification. Awesome neighbor! He and Mitchell deserve our thanks and gratitude!
yes, i noticed, but they are obviously poor due to the circumstances.
I know one thing... Ben's kidnapping stayed a hot subject on one local TV channel in St. Louis. That channel was Channel 5 - KSDK (NBC) in St. Louis ( www.ksdk.com ). They ran a ticker across the bottom of the screen as soon as the Amber Alert was put out on Ben and they did not take the ticker down during the whole time Ben was missing. The ticker message also had a description of the truck.
KSDK in St. Louis was the only TV station in St. Louis that kept the ticker up non-stop. Kudos to KSDK for doing this and I feel they played a major role in getting the information out about Ben and the white truck to people who normally don't watch the local news when it is on during it's regularly scheduled times.
I heard on the news that the stepfather had a job as a computer programmer or something...but quit it to look for Shawn and start the foundation.
Bless their hearts...that is probably why they don't have the money to help their health care.
They talked about needing a whole new wardrobe for Shawn..they kept his clothes in his dresser.
It is times like this that I wish I had MONEY...cause I would love to help them out.
If I remember Staynor died in motorcycle wreck. You may be confusing him with his brother.
When they get him in prison he's gonna wish a goiter was the only problem he had.
