i think it is spelled CHucky, and yes Arlin's name was Charles! Very scary!
so this is not credible than and the lady is making stuff up! nice! What a thing to do to the family of Arlin!
Just makes me sick to see what people will do to just "get in the news"! They are scum!
Why would the cops show the pictures to arlins parents if they did not think there was a chance.
yeah, that makes no sense!
Sensational stories like the Hornbeck/Ownby kidnappings bring all of the weirdos out of the woodwork.
If Arlin was taken by that evil bastard Devlin, chances are he is not alive.
Do we know how many bridges this son burned before he left at 17?
I am an adoptee and the relationship problems are phenomenal. I do not form very good adult long lasting relationships, including with adopted family members.
I adore them to death, but I don't seem to have that tie to the "family" that I see in my natural born brothers.
Plus, it's not unusual for kids with the same parents to experience different childhoods. Stuff happens between siblings that parents don't even know about. You have to wonder what kind of relationship this troubled Brian had with his younger brother, Michael.
Missouri Cops Probe Photos of Child Missing Since 1991 in Devlin Case
Thursday, January 25, 2007
ST. LOUIS Missouri detectives investigating accused kidnapper Michael Devlin have shown photographs to relatives of a child missing since 1991 that came from someone who claims to know the former pizzeria worker.
The person who claims to know Devlin told police they thought the boy pictured in the photos was an acquaintance of Devlin's from years ago, said James McWilliams, the uncle of Charles "Arlin" Henderson, who disappeared in July 1991 at the age of 11 while riding his bike on a rural road in Moscow Mills, about an hour's drive north of St. Louis.
Lincoln County detectives are part of a state and federal task force investigating Devlin to see if he is linked to other child abductions.
The detectives showed Henderson's relatives the photos this week. Family members said they look like they could be of the long-lost boy.

Detectives were investigating whether the source (of the pictures) did in fact know Devlin, McWilliams told The Associated Press.
But the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, citing sources "familiar with the investigation," reported that authorities believe that two photographs provided by the woman are not a credible lead in the investigation of Arlin's disappearance.

So it is the Post-Dispatch that is saying their sources "familiar with the investigation" (rolling eyes again at the Post-Dispatch). Surely the REAL people in charge of this investigation are taking the pictures seriously at this point and are trying to verify if the lady who has the pictures really knows Devlin.
GIVE IT TIME FOLKS don't peg this lady as being a full blown lier just yet. Let's wait and see what the REAL people in charge of the investigation have to say about this lady and her photos.
yep, we don't know the answer yet so let's not judge on whether this lady is a liar or not yet.

Could this really be Shawn's myspace?
In all honesty it could be anyone. including some sick @ss like Devlin. That is a media picture of him from the Oprah show in his profile.
That is my guess too. I am sure My Space will deal with it shortly.
true, so it is likely not him.
You're right, we simply don't know enough about the family to say what's what.
Blessings to you in your own relationships with your family. It must be tough at times to deal with it all.
Rolling my eyes with you. Don't you just love it when the media thinks they know more than the people closest to a situation?
I doubt it. The photo was taken from the "evil" oprah show. Could be anyone.
