The thing about this 'bombshell' is that it kind of violated a journalistic thing. It did NOT advance the story. Not a bit. Not one single bit. If it does nothing for the story, no reason to report it.

Well I would like to know if they have the correct person. It's possible that it's a small error, like the date of death, that led to a bigger error.

The first night of this story the Franklin County Prosecutor came out and said that Michael J. Devlin was a prior sex offender in Utah. It turned out there were two Michael J. Devlins.
