BUMP!

Well, the Uber Freepers are already out in force on this thread!
Bill O dug himself a pit..that he does not acknowledge..shame on him.
As soon as he felt himself sinking in a quicksand of his own making, he began to SPIN trying to get out. Saying he never did more than "raise questions" about Shawn's failure to get away from Devlin.
Any of us, including myself, who saw and heard his first attack on Shawn, knows he had already passed judgement against the boy. A fact that he has never admitted, just as you point out. A time or two or three afterwards he said, if I'm wrong, I'll admit it. But he has changed his story so that now he claims never to have done anything he need apologize for.
One of the worst performances in the history of tv punditry...
I had ony read about his first pronouncements..but I caught his weasel spin explanation..and it was pathetic. Just asking questions like a good reporter? I think not!
the man was doing way more than asking questions. I just got off the phone with my mother who just watched the Oprah show from yesterday. She is now disgusted with BOR and won't listen or watch him again!
Can you start a ping list about Shawn's & Ben case ?
I'm glad they addressed O'Reilly specifically. Good for them!
I don't know that she has specifically criticized the President. I suppose it is possible. And certainly she has left-leaning guests on her show, but she is an entertainer and most of Hollywood leans left. I don't get the sense from Oprah that she is a far leftist like BS or Alec Baldwin, though. Also, she doesn't beat people over the head with her agenda the way Phil Donohue used to or Rosie O'Donnell does. I don't have a problem with her harboring leftist leanings, so long as she doesn't use her platform for it. I think, compared to most celebrities, she's been downright reserved. Also, as I said before, when it comes to issues of victims' rights and personal and financial accountability, she seems conservative to me. I agree that people are too easily led by her, but I applaud her for not abusing that power.

You got that right! Quite a lot of spin going on in the "no spin zone"!
anyone want on the Shawn Hornbeck/Ben Ownby ping list let me know!
I want on it. Thanks again!
got you!
add me to the ping
It's right up there with the three numbskulls (Doocy, Kilmeade and Carlson) on F&F this morning. In the first hour, they covered this story by once again slamming the family for appearing on Oprah. Got it? People who would otherwise have been very happy to interview the family, (as it's their JOB) slamming the family.
It looks to me like the family didn't grant any interviews to Fox, and I don't blame them. The way FOX handled this case I would NEVER grant an interview to anyone in that network.
Me too, please
got ya!
I noticed that as well and decided it was because of BOR and the way the network was treating Shawn and his family. Sad the most conservative network is blasting a kid for not getting away from his kindapper!

Count me in!
