WASHINGTON — The White House fired back Friday at Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer's verbal slap at Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, calling the California Democrat's caustic comments about Rice's family life "outrageous."
Boxer lit into Rice on Thursday with bitter diatribe during a heated line of questioning before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee looking into Iraq policies. At one point, Boxer turned to the broad question of who pays the ultimate price for war. Rice has never married and has no children.
"Who pays the price? I'm not going to pay a personal price. My kids are too old and my grandchild is too young," Boxer said. "You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, with an immediate family. So who pays the price? The American military and their families."

"I don't know if she was intentionally that tacky, but I do think it's outrageous. Here you got a professional woman, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and Barbara Boxer is sort of throwing little jabs because Condi doesn't have children, as if that means that she doesn't understand the concerns of parents. Great leap backward for feminism,"
Snow told FOX News Talk's Brian and The Judge.

Ah, you beat me to this story...by mere minutes.
This is so outrageous. I'm left almost speechless by Boxer's rudeness. Almost.

Boxer's hypocrisy is beyond human toleration, since she accepts money from highly questionable Islamist organizations.
This outrageous behavior, along with her endless shallow hysterics and crooked financial dealings, make her a Severe Personality Disorder: Borderline with Antisocial and Hystrionic Features.

I saw Boxer's classless performance on C-Span yesterday and sat upright when I heard her comment.

That's some pretty tortured logic, and perfectly bad form as well.
Anyway, what's the difference? Terrorists are going to sustain their killing spree for as long as they are permitted and your children, grand children, etc. will be paying the price into perpetuity IF some one does not draw the line here. Maybe that is to complex for Ms. Boxer...
In any case, Boxer showed that she is a coarse fishwife in addition to being stupid! Typical Liberal logic... never think past the immediate, temporary and personal!

What is even worse is that this woman is STILL voted into office by the majority of the nutjobs here in California. Many of the "immigrants" have been sold a bill of goods about how great the Democrats are, and therefore, voting for ANY Democrat, and ESPECIALLY if that person is a woman, will serve their personal interests such as free medical care, free food stamps, free tuition for their college-age kids, etc. etc. Personal responsibility is NEVER touted by the Left and Leftists all. Barbara Boxer is an Embarrassment. The loony Left. The distasteful Left. The nasty Left. The idiot Left.

I believe that gentleman with Pelosi is a Sikh. They are a sect which doesn't cut their hair and always wear a turban to cover it. It is part of their religion, as I understand it.
They are not Moslems.

Ya know I don't usually comment or get into the name calling political threads BUT Boxer owes Rice a HUGE apology for what she stated.
Low is low but fer cryin' out loud this is way below the belt.
Shame on Boxer for saying such a thing and worst as a public statemetn.
I just had a flash fantasy run through my mind.
Boxer saying that in front of Rice and Rice quickly hauling of and slapping Boxer HARD right across the face. It begs for a good slap in the face.

I don't know whom I dislike more among the female Socialists: Boxer, Pelosi, Feinstein, Hillary, Lee. In terms of nasty childishness, it's Feinstein. (She ranks right up there with Russ Feingold.) In terms of danger to the country, it's Hillary. In terms of anti-American, it's Pelosi.

Boxer is the typical cruel lib. If Boxer thinks because Condi doesn't have kids she is not allowed to have anything to do with this war, than what gives Boxer the right to shay how the war is fought? SEH IS NOT THE PRESIDENT. She is just a STUPID CUT N RUN Senator.
Just like all the deomncrat liberals. They call the President and his cabinet all kinds of names even filthy ones. Never mind that he's the one who has been keeping their SORRY BUTTS safe since 9/11. Never mind the fact, that with his leadership, the economy is booming.
Unfortunately none of that will matter shortly, because the demoncrats now hold power and they will destroy it all.
I'm also sick of hearing the demoncrats talk about President Bush sending our children to war. In case they haven't notices, these are not children. They are ADULTS who freely joined the military with full knowledge they may have to fight in a war.
The UNGREATFUL NO NOTHINGS IN CONGRESS AND THE DEMONCRAT PARTY should be down on their hands at night thanking GOD there is someone in the White House willing to risk all to keep this country safe.
Oh! I forgot, they don't believe in GOD because the think they are the higher power.

Yep, Miss Marple. You're right...that guy is most probably a Sikh.
For the record - there are no other people on earth who hate the muslimes more than the Sikhs do. Even today, the muslimes mess around with all other religions in South Asia but wisely leave the Sikhs alone.

The turban is a religious symbol of the Sikh religion.
Due to the turbans Sikhs wear, people in Western countries have sometimes confused Sikhs with all Middle Eastern men or Muslims. This has affected Sikhs in times of conflict with elements of the Middle East. For example, during the Iranian hostage crisis when the government of Iran held Americans hostages in its own country, some people in Western countries misunderstood the Sikh turban as a turban worn by all Middle Eastern men. After the World Trade Center attack on September 11, 2001, some people associated Sikhs with terrorists or members of the Taliban. A few days after the attack, Balbir Singh Sodhi, a Sikh man, was gunned down by a person who thought that the victim had ties to Al-Qaeda, concluding that this misconception has lead to an increase in hate-crimes against Sikh men in the United States
