Judge in Duke 'Rape' Case Orders Paternity Test for Accuser's Baby
Wednesday, January 10, 2007
That's probably what the announcement is. I had thought that this was ordered a couple of weeks ago though.
Most likely that is what this is about.
Confirmation. A paternity test has been ordered. Oh well.
Two pertinent pieces of data:
1. Police later located and interviewed the woman [my note: Burgundy Explorer), but police haven't disclosed whether she was Crawley.
and
Crawley, a single mother with two elementary school-age children, lives blocks from Jermeir Stroud, an N.C. Central graduate who got engaged to Smith last month.
I think the police are being wise in keeping this under wraps (but not buried) until they obtain more evidence. And I think Miss Estes' "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" is and should be the phrase of the day.
Prayers for her two children.
another new thread...

LMAO!!! Do they think Brodhead is baby daddy?
I can't believe they put his large picture next to the headline.
The nail is hammered.
Is this where Cathy Davidson got the idea for "blog hooligans"? She got it from a power-mad D.A.? Maybe she should give her teaching credentials to Nifong.
bookmark ping-a-ling , for later ,... & THANKS TBBBO
They came pretty close.
If this "scholar" thinks the LAX team hiring these strippers reveals the "prejudice and inequality in the society at large", then she should go to the high-dollar strip joints, like the one over in Atlanta, and see what the Black athletes with Big Buck$ get for their money from the White strippers at such places.
Zzzing! Poking fun at this ridiculous fraud is one of the best ways to expose the perps and their schemes. And nobody can do it like Annie.
This is like having Hitler resign as chairman of UNICEF, I mean, it doesn't get any better than this. This woman would have protested Jesus' healing the sick if she'd been around at the time.
I know, growing up in rural Mississippi, it was almost a slur, to have been known as a sharecropper's son or as in my case a grandson. It was almost the "trailer trash" of its day........
A related post at the Duke Chronicle's website (http://www.dukechronicle.com/messageboard/index.cfm?event=viewtopic&umessage_id=3d1bc1fa-12a5-410c-a893-a2dc0e123530):
Perhaps somebody should xerox the following list of quotations by Dr. Martin Luther King, and put "Duke Lacrosse 2006" at the top, and pin copies up everywhere. As a small silent reminder . . .
"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."
"A lie cannot live."
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."
"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
"A right delayed is a right denied."
"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it. He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
"The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict."
"The time is always right to do what is right."
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
No one remembers what he said. His own movement has been hijacked by race-baiting individuals who believe pay-back can and should be a bitch. Give it another ten years and you won't be able to find anyone who can remember what he said or believed in or helped a nation to believe in. I pray, with all my heart, he's in a better place where he can't see what happened to his work.
Since whgen did Black become capitalized?
Of course, but liberals believe that black racism is the good kind of racism.
Give folks 15 years and they'll be asking, "Martin Who???" His dream is is on life support in the white community and it's flat-lined in the black community.
