Thank goodness that the Fox ADD Channel just added a map of New York state to their screen, otherwise I might miss the text saying "NY City Hall", "Midtown NYC", "NYC Emergency Management", and the pictures from Manhattan and not know where they were talking about.

Perhaps the roof of Madison Square Garden is leaking. The odor from the Knicks would certainly be strong enough to be smelled in New Jersey.More like the Jets and Giants cleaning out their lockers at the same time over at Giants stadium. Too much stink for most people to handle.

Thanks for that.
We may never know...never found out what that sickening sweet maple syrup smell was in Manhattan a few years back.

Would have been a good topic for Edie to follow up with O'Reily on FNC.Trouble is, Bill isn't much different than the mayor.

That's really odd... seems like too big an area for a natural gas leak. Seems like even a pretty large release of natural gas would disperse quicker than that. I keep coming back to this. If there were this large a leak, CONED could pinpoint it pretty quickly. That's a lot of real estate not just getting a scent, but a STRONG scent. Something doesn't add up.

Jersey City said they didn't cause the smell!
New York said "pull my finger."

All my doors and windows have sensors on them...I would have to leave by jumping out the 2nd story window to the garage roof and jump from there.
...which ain't gonna happen. ;^)

Natural gas has to be concentrated (i.e. inside a structure) in order to explode. Out in the open air, unless right at the source, there would be no explosion.
