PRESIDENT BUSH: ....."we're at a war with an enemy that still wants to attack.

I-- after 9/11, I told the American people I would do everything in my power to protect the country, within the law, and that's exactly how I conduct my presidency."

You heard it, you read it, black and white, clear as day! What does he think we are, complete morons? You all know he repeats this over and over and over...have the American people bought into it?

Sure it was...he never has had any intention of securing the border. He's following the agenda of the OBL to a T.

Imagine sending out soldiers into Iraq to provide security for the green zone in Baghdad....with no weapon.

Speaking of Iraq...I'm convinced that's why nothing has been done to secure their borders to keep the insurgents from getting and attacking our soldiers. How would he justify securing their borders, while ours remain wide open. Every decision Bush makes has a domino affect on everything else. I'm sure I'd want to be over there putting my azz on the line, knowing my family back home are sitting ducks because he refuses to secure the border.

82 posts on a critical topic regarding our soldiers and the Bush fans are no where to be found? I guess this move by Bush was indefensible?

It was the drug corridor between Nogales and Lukeville, Arizona......not San Diego, California.

And that's OK with our President, who continues to get "Day in the Life of President Bush"-hosannas from the true-believers, here.

Notice how you never see any of those worn out old toads on these threads? Those sycophants would rather sit there and defend a president who's broken his oath to protect this country than defend the country itself. I'm absolutely sick to see the direction the United States is heading.

Is this another example of pride for you? Invaders overrunning our law enforcement?

Did DU crash tonight so everyone came over here?

It's interesting to read that everyone puts the blame on President Bush when it's the Governors that want the borders left open.

"WAKE UP AMERICA!"

I fear it is too late. The alarm clock at the White House has been stuck on "snooze" for six years.

Welcome to the North American Union.

The blame does lie in the lap of President Bush. He took an oath to defend the U.S. from foreign invaders and is not keeping his promise to us.

(Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were guarding the Mexican border near El Paso on February 17, 2005 when they intercepted a van carrying 743 pounds of marijuana. For what happened next, they were convicted and sentenced under a statute that was designed to impose heavy punishment on criminal drug smugglers caught in the commission of a crime.)

Their crime? Border Patrol must get permission to pursue, Ramos and Jose Compean did their duty without calling for permission first. In Iraq, pretty much the same thing is happening. It stands to reason that the NG must get permission first to fire on invaders. This is an outrage, just unbelievable. If you have not called or faxed your senators, congressmen or the White House, please do so right now. Texans should be up in arms over this and the court responsible for this utter travesty of justice.

No, they'd have been no better and no worse than Bush. The OBL is a BIPARTISAN effort. Had Bush not joined forces with Ted Kennedy, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.

Actually I think the WH has been wide awake and complicit in a bipartisan agenda that will destroy the sovereignty and security of our country. If we don't take action, real action soon, they are going to try and pass CIR in just a few short months. America will never be the same.

"I think if any cities disappear, it will only be more reason to declare martial law on US citizens while the illegal aliens continue unhindered."

Well, should all hell break loose, we are to be reminded which side of this issue our government, and therefor, our military, are on.

Bush, Republican and RAT elites ar all for open borders. What does that tell us. It tells me that our government is now no longer representing or protecting the interests of American citizens. Isn't it odd that deals regarding the SS benefits we have been ripped off for, are made behind our backs with Mexico etc.. All of this is outrageous and treasonous.

"Sounds like they were testing the border and the NG. Said this was the first incursion of this kind ---- in the Tucson secter."

From what I've read the northern border of mexico is controlled by the druggies and other criminal gangs. I used to think that influence largly stopped at the border. I don't think so anymore.

We could just give amnesty to all of Mexico, that is the only way the drug and weapons laws will be enforced.
