I usually expect more from the class of the '90's.
I am often disappointed.
I'm not much different from most FReepers, especially you.

Javon Walker was NOT hit by a bullet.
There were 10 bullet holes in the limo.
Apparently a semi automatic weapon was used.
Thanks for the update. Prayers for all.
That's too sweet of you to say (((Soldier Dad)))
Just call em like they are.
make that three....
Prayers are offered today for Darrent Williams and all who mourn his passing. Prayers are offered also for the full recovery of the woman who was wounded.
I haven't, and wouldn't shoot at one regardless, yet, there are some among us who would.
"...but if you look like a duck and act like a duck, you're going to get shot like a duck."
Quack bang bump.
D-Will wasn't very big, but he was a GIANT on the field. I have so many memories of watching him play in Stillwater. The entire OSU family is in shock. Prayers for his family and friends. God Bless you, D-Will...
Darrent wasn't a "thug".....
Apparently, there is a group here on FR that have so little of a life, that they think ADULTS staying out after midnight...on NEW YEARS EVE have something unusual wrong with them. Just because they go to bed at 9 and get up at 4 every morning for no reason whatsoever doesn't mean we all have to.
When I took Psych 101 back in 1974, we learned that people like to find ways to blame the victim. I didn't want to believe that about my fellow human beings, but this topic and many of its responses would have been more than enough to convince me of it, even if I had not figured it all out for myself years ago.
This was random street violence, and it could just as easily have happened to any of us.
Thanks
I wondered the same thing. I suspect that someone lost a large bet and was not happy about it...
Sounds like a gang hit.
There are 2 different talented D. Williams on the Denver broncos:
Darrent Williams was a cornerback, and D.J. Williams is an Outside Linebacker

I wish his family and friends a lot of strength in this extremely difficult time.
