Exactly. And as for him "partying" after the losing game, staying home and sulking about it wasn't going to change things. I'd bet that someone else in that limo invited him to go along to cheer him up. If so, that person must feel horrible.

When I took Psych 101 back in 1974, we learned that people like to find ways to blame the victim. I didn't want to believe that about my fellow human beings, but this topic and many of its responses would have been more than enough to convince me of it, even if I had not figured it all out for myself years ago.

This was random street violence, and it could just as easily have happened to any of us.

Nope. See my earlier post on this page. It's pretty clear at this point that it was the result of an argument between Williams group and some gangbangers that had been invited to a party Williams, Walker and others were throwing for another denver area pro-athlete.
