that is a very good question that you ask.
I would love to see Lynne Cheney on the ticket, she is so cool, and yet she can do a smack down on lightweights like Wuff Wuff Blitzer that leave their teeth rattling.
I would love to see Rick Santorum get his just due, probably not VP, maybe Supreme Ct, or Homeland Security Secretary. That would please me no end to see the man that knows so much and has warned us so many times about Islamofacists be in a position to really make our safety and security Paramount.
The one time my wife and I visited her dad and step mom at her step mom's home town in Belgium, where they've retired, they fixed us this local delicacy, green pancakes. My mother in law (step mother in law?) was explaining the recipe and spoke about these "green herbs." I asked "what green herbs." She said she didn't know, but they just found them on the side of the road.
I was concerned about blood tests for a while after that... <g>
#453, What in the Hell is in the Water up their in Dc?
Yeah, well a lot of them might truthfully be called wishful thinking.
Here's my logic....the Clinton magic protection is going to disappear once Hitlery throws her hat in the ring. There's the Barrett report, which Clintonoids managed to keep under wraps. There's plenty of stuff out there, goodness as we all know, about the Clintons that will finally get some serious scrutiny if Lady Love Hillary runs.
So okay, one of my predictions is that Hillary won't run thus the damaging data on her and Bill won't be released. One OR the other of my predictions re this matter is going to happen.
As for Romney, I know for a fact that the Delaware GOP is putting its full force behind Romney and a speaker at a recent Delaware GOP women's group communicated that Romney is the man and I believe it.
Samantha's right about Richardson, he is in too deep with the Clintons and isn't he the one who covered up the Monica thing? So that might have been a bad choice. But I still don't think the Dems are going to nominate Hill because I do not believe that woman can win. And Obama's middle name is HUSSEIN and American voters, God love them, simply will not pull the lever for a fellow with this name, nevermind the "unfairness" of this. Voting is a private act and given their privacy, Americans follow their gut. This is why homosexual marriage keeps losing everywhere. In the privacy of the voting booth and without homosexual friends and relatives around to fill us with guilt, boom, Americans vote against such a nonsensical thing.
Anyway, I stand by my predictions and would argue that I'll be as accurate as the so-called "experts" who make such predictions.
It's my story and I'm sticking to it.
We had asparagus growing our yard in Colorado when I was a little girl...one day my Mom saw it growing and asked my Dad when he planted it..
He said he not only didn't plant it...but it was hard to mow down each week....LOL
He had no clue it was asparagus...thought it was a very thick weed.
pass the red velvet cake it looks so yummy....dinner looks good too...my mouth is watering again and I'm not even hungry it's the cake...lol
You know, I might like to have that recipe for Red Velvet cake.
great pix both
I don't know...but it seems to affect the GOP Congresscritters that we send there...
I think the Dems are already that way...but the water makes them worse.
This is all true. I still have this nagging thing about him, but at this point I'm trying to keep an open mind about potential GOP candidates. Listen, watch and wait is the approach I'm taking.
I like them boiled as well
:0)
I like it LOL
Like you, I'm observing right now. I agree, his religion is no problem (with me).
Freep mail to you in few minutes.
My brother bought a house with an asparagus patch in his yard and he like to went nuts trying to dig it out.
Myself was jealous as all get-out because the best vegetable on this planet is asparagus. It's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I love those Green Giant tall cans of asparagus but goodness, those suckers cost over two bucks a can!
I think, unless we drop the political correct nonesense we are inviting the same problems as in France and England. Personally, I think Australia is taking the better approach. Tell them to get with the program or leave, we are not changing for them.
I know what you mean about the cost..
Lately, though...I have noticed that my grocery stores have been selling fresh asparagus at reasonable prices...and when you just break the stems off...place them in a flat bowl in the microwave for a few minutes...
Delicious...and worth the cost.
I try to buy the slimmest ones..they aren't quite as tough.
