The rat media is nothing if not slick.
They will try and stay on both sides of every issue, for the war against, and pretend to be fair and balanced but all the while the truth keeps spilling out.
They are a wholly owned subsidiary of the DNC.

Mariah on FNS states no rule of law in Iraq.
I would think Saddam thinks a bit different.

True but Krauthammers main occupation except for FNC is columnist at WashPostHe doesn't work for TWP. The newspaper carries his syndication.
Krauthammer works for "Them", not for "us"(as in, "We The People"). /grin And, in the immortal words of our Once and Future Co-President, "You know what I mean!"
I'm off to church - best wishes for a Happy New Year to everyone!

Lets not forget in 1974 Turkey invaded Cyprus on Fords watch. What, as Vice-President?
- July 20, 1974: Turkey invades Cyprus
- August 9, 1974: Sworn in as 38th President of the United States after resignation of Richard M. Nixon

#32, I would say that Lugar has a Jeffords, and Bill Nelson kind of problem, but seriously how on earth could you tell? He always acts, sounds loopy, waaay out of touch. Does he ever get angry with Democrats behavior? Does he ever say anything good about GWB and Republicans that are not RINOS and Suckups like him? I did not think so,what a limp wristed Howdy Doody lookalike.

I am watching Krauthammer on Fox News Sunday. He is complaining that the trial was botched, Krauthammer felt "queasy" about the hanging and so forth.
As Winston Churchill has noted, "There is no good way to kill a man." Especially difficult is up front and in your face killing. Proof positive of how hard it is to kill seeing what you are killing is the common medical finding that women view a sonogram of their fetus they are much less likely to have an abortion.
This is not about abortion, however. What it is about is that seeing and being responsible for a death even symbolically is hard.
Not seeing all Saddam's victims is another part of the problem. Too long between crime and punishment is used by liberals everywhere to diminish the likelihood of punishment. Another common human experience.
All told, this man deserved to die and there never was a right time or a right way to do it that would placate everyone.

Lordy, Lugar is just doddering. "Who is being trained?" I would assume they are Iraqis. "Where are the battle lines?" Well, Lugar, they are wherever the "insurgents" pop up. My goodness, do none of them read anything??? He wants the President to describe to him who we are fighting and how do our people go about finding them. Apparently Lugar cannot find any information by himself and has to have the President feed it to him. I went to Dick Lugar's Senate web site and found a section entitled "Elevating the Iraq Debate." It's a pretty good list with some interesting resources. I also think it's fairly obvious, particularly from how you describe his appearance today, that it was prepared by his staff and he didn't read any of it.
I'm going to send him an email asking him what books he's read on the topic (the whole topic, not just Iraq). I'll provide him a list made up equally of anti-war screeds, such as Fiasco: The American Military Adventure in Iraq by Thomas E. Ricks, and more reasoned works, such as America Alone: The End of the World as We Know It by Mark Steyn. I'll then score him by how many of each type he says he's read.
By the way, I still recommend that everyone buy a copy of Steyn's book for both of their Senators and their Representative. It should be required reading.

not only is family important but so is service to one's countryEspecially if that service can bring you wealth and power. Those two are so phony it practically leaks out of them right before your eyes. Silky pony or horses ass?

Agreed, but I haven't anyone except a few whackos complaining the improprieties of Saddam's hanging. Have I missed something? Who's complaining?
The celebrations in Iraq seem to neuter those complaints, imho.

Along w/Steyn's book, I hope everyone here AND our esteemed representatives will also read Brigitte Gabrielle's "Why They Hate" to get a clue about how Islam is already following the same pattern here (increased population and demands for 'rights' on their way to taking over) as they did in Lebanon.

John says he's not there yet .. regarding gay marriageOh, so John could be persuaded if enough contributions come in from the "gay" community.
If he hasn't decided what his answer is to that issue, what does that say about him?
