The Drop Broke Saddam's neck killing him instantly. At the executions following the Nuremberg Trials others were not so lucky.

Although Smith discreetly omitted mentioning it, the experienced Army hangman, Master Sgt. John C. Woods, botched the executions. A number of the hanged Nazis died, not quickly from a broken neck as intended, but agonizingly from slow strangulation. Ribbentrop and Sauckel each took 14 minutes to choke to death, while Keitel, whose death was the most painful, struggled for 24 minutes at the end of the rope before expiring..."

Iraqi State TV is displaying a statement confirming the execution.
This from someone showing their grief for the death of an evil dictator. If Pres. Bush or those that voted for him were being hung they would be dancing in the streets.
These people are pure evil and possessed by demons.

16. Notice how they moved the Baghdad guy reporting live from the
- AWAY from the Christmas trees in the background. I suspect somebody coordinating the coverage had him move away from them, because the visuals would just be a little too tacky, thankyouverymuch. It's certainly not what I would want to remember when I look at a Christmas tree.

Aside from my resistance to the death penalty, I regret this because he could have testified against both of the bushes and all the other creeps who have dragged this country into the mud with their onanistic fantasies of empire.
Very limited coverage at this time on Milwaukee TV.
FOX 6 didn't cut to the FOX Network until 9:20 CST and only ran the Fox Network coverage for about a minute and a half. Cut back to the local news and commercials.
Same with local radio. About a one minute network break in and back to regular programming.
Most outlets I saw are sourcing three Arab media outlets.
Nothing "official" yet....

It is almost mind-blowing to realize that in one microsecond, moments ago, Saddam Hussein learned that Allah is meaningless and Jesus Christ is Lord. What a terrible way to learn.
