OMG, he was just on FOX live announcing in front of a Katrina-wrecked home in NOLA. You could tell they searched extensively for the most devastated backdrop, yet aesthetically balanced, for his scripted announcement.
To translate Edwards, he said he decided to announce here when he just happened to be working as a volunteer on a wrecked home, why it's that one right over there. He had a revelation that this scene, of a pampered millionaire taking time off to rebuild the home of a poor black family, reminded him of his theory of "two Americas". He decided that this represented the heart of his goals for America, to rebuild and reunite America instead of doing nothing and dividing America like the past Republican administration.
It was all delivered in a very unconvincing, scripted manner and I was eyeing possible places to puke, when they cut his mike off for commentary.

Saw Edwards on Fox slingin' the mud for folks of New Orleans. What a grand gesture! Why he's a rich man a comin' to help the poor people!

Edwards reminds me of a used car salesman. Yuck! He's just creepy. You got that right. Can you imagine him and Bubba on the same lot. Who do you think we are, Hertz?
To: Ouderkirk
Didn't you hear, Biden dropped out. He couldn't handle the competition.

Got elected NC Senator in 1998, running as a moderate Democrat.
Proceeded to vote like a Kennedy for 6 years -- against the Bush tax cuts, even against partial-birth abortion ban.<.I> Democrats always have to lie and obfuscate what they really are in order to have any chance of winning.

Yeah, and it carries so much weight coming from a millionaire trial lawyer, doesn't it?

Edwards understands the plight of the middle class. ROFL. The "plight of the middle class" is that it's being taxed oput of existence to pay for idiotic liberal social programs and will receive a paltry 1% on it's "investment" in social security after working for 50 years.

Is it just me or was that the most inarticulate, bumbled Presidential announcement in the history of the Republic?

Jon Carry is such an egomaniac that I'm sure he will try to run again.
The Dem primaries would make for smashing comedy if the prospect of one of them actually taking the White House wasn't so frightening.
