That is one of the saving graces of the Dem/rat party, leave them alone long enough and they will self-destruct.

Let me state, up front, that no one was more disappointed than I in the 2006 midterm election results. However, the Dims have had the luxury of playing sniper for the past six years. Now, their target has been reduced to the POTUS. Presently, it will be the turn of the Pub's minority in Congress to throw some rocks at the very vulnerable Pelosi, Reed, and their treasonous friends. And I intend to be of every assistance possible in goading, encouraging etc. the Pubs to get on with it.

The Republicans just have not demonstrated any fortitude when it comes to combating Dems. I used to think it was because Republicans dont usually operate in the gutter, and were out of their element when they were dragged down there by the bottom feeding Dems. An example would be Sandy Burglars slap on the wrist for his blatant treachery, while Scooter Libby still faces trial. The fact that the RNC or any other GOP entity doesnt hammer this disparity is extremely frustrating. The GOP needs to rally, and I believe we will, but the new and improved GOP will have to grow a spine and a pair of brass ones, in order to be effective. Thats just the way it is..
