My Mini-14 was so way off at the last shoot it made me sick and I had ta put it away. After using this on it over the weekend I saw why. Gonna try ta bring my Ruger M-77 .243 this time. Airline travel with a rifle should be interesting!

It is time to again start planning the Memorial Shoot in honor of TexasCowboy.
This year the event will be held April 14th at The Bullet Hole Shooting Range in San Antonio. Starting at 11:00 a.m.

Range fees are $10.50. This year each person will pay the fee to the range.
After we finish shooting we will BBQ dead animals. (Sorry guys, no Kick Ass Enchilada's this go round). Folks need to holler about what food they will bring. Also, everyone is responsible for bringing their own drink of choice.
The Eaker Clan plan on spending the night in San Antonio that Saturday night.

Once upon a time there was an exocic meat store in the Memorial area. They sold kangaroo, and it is very tasty.
If you find a place in houston let me know where it is, my idea, my treat.
I understand there is a guy selling them in Alaska for a good price...

That also happens to be our Wedding anniversary weekend of sorts...
We were married on the 14th of 2000, and kinda turn the whole weekend into one long blur of "stuff"...
Might be fun to go shoot, and make a weekend out of the event...But "Wife Unit" may have other ideas...
And some may know I have to work into those ideas...
Guess I have to plant the seed and somehow see what she thinks...Because, well, she shoots as well...And I did buy her a new toy for Christmas...Albiet a small caliber, but I figure that'll hurt anyway you look at it...hehehe
I know I am going to get this mental smack upside my head from "theMom" when she sees this...hehehe

I am going on a Caribbean cruise on the 14th of April, I will be passing by on the 13th going to Galveston.
