2nd Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot

It is time to again start planning the Memorial Shoot in honor of TexasCowboy.

This year the event will be held April 14th at The Bullet Hole Shooting Range in San Antonio. Starting at 11:00 a.m.

Range fees are $10.50. This year each person will pay the fee to the range.

After we finish shooting we will BBQ dead animals. (Sorry guys, no Kick Ass Enchilada's this go round). Folks need to holler about what food they will bring. Also, everyone is responsible for bringing their own drink of choice.

The Eaker Clan plan on spending the night in San Antonio that Saturday night.

You betcha...wOOt! The more the merrier! Now we just need to find a great Mexican restaurant on the River Walk. There used to be a good one called La Paloma..but I haven't been there for a while and don't know if it's still open.

Yes, I just shake my head at the craziness of the weather. It was up in the 70s here, too, but pretty windy. Juat a preview of the sandy times we'll have in March! Ugh!

Then next Monday it's supposed to be back down in the 50s. Good grief!

Yes. They had very good Mexican food. The last time we ate there one of la palomas left a little "surprise" on my hubby's plate of food...as we were eating on the patio! LOL!

He was not impressed. :D

Yes, unless you are actually taking the river boats (which are very romantic---or used to be), the key word would be "WALK"! LOL!

We will need a plan to meet up with you when we all get there. I arrive at around noon on the 13th, and will then go to check in to the hotel. There will be time to see some stuff before NYT gets there later in the afternoon.

MY, when are you to arrive? Are you staying the same place we are?

Well, now I REALLY wish I could be there.
To be able to bring the teach an apple, as well as plink away with my little .22 calibre Henry Golden Boy,well that would make my day.

Awww, I am sorry you can't be there, it will be a lot of fun. And Teach always likes apples... or scotch. ;-)
