Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with Andrew Natsios, U.S. special envoy to Sudan and Darfur, at the State Department.
And Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, along with Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman, General Peter Pace made a surprise visit to Baghdad where they met with troops and commanders to discuss future options in Iraq.

if you ever get to Placerville, CA and go downtown there is a nearby neighborhood where the actual houses are that he painted:) there is also a huge Kinkaide gallery there and they can tell you where it is...I've seen them sans snow and you can see the houses and the grounds...it's awesome

I've heard about that - Placerville, huh? Someone I know told me that there was a neighborhood of homes built in the Kincaid fashion.
I told hubby once that we should develop homes that look like a Kincaide painting. That's when I heard about this.

The most interesting thing about the
Senate approving the Bush tax cuts is the Democrats did not filibuster the vote. That says to me the pre-election opposition to the tax cuts was just campaign garbage. If the Demorats really felt the Bush tax cuts did not work they would have filibustered the recemt tax cut vote.
