if you ever get to Placerville, CA and go downtown there is a nearby neighborhood where the actual houses are that he painted:) there is also a huge Kinkaide gallery there and they can tell you where it is...I've seen them sans snow and you can see the houses and the grounds...it's awesome

I've heard about that - Placerville, huh? Someone I know told me that there was a neighborhood of homes built in the Kincaid fashion.
I told hubby once that we should develop homes that look like a Kincaide painting. That's when I heard about this.
I will try to visit that. Thanks for the information.

The most interesting thing about the
Senate approving the Bush tax cuts is the Democrats did not filibuster the vote. That says to me the pre-election opposition to the tax cuts was just campaign garbage. If the Demorats really felt the Bush tax cuts did not work they would have filibustered the recemt tax cut vote.
To: DrDeb
Deb, if I only have time to read one post on FR (which I do right now), it is YOUR AWESOME POST on the DOSE.
Thank you SO much for bringing us information that keeps us all on an even keel.
And don't ever think we take what you do for granted. We don't!

I'm in the 'give him a chance' category too, jonny.
The President will be an influence on HIM rather than the other way around.
Thanks for the Dose last night. No time these days to hang around much, but I did take a look, and I do thank you!
