What is the Chinese position on adoption by same-sex couples?
In some States are Farms for the fat. They say its to mask an insecurity - eating too much. It is their Comfort.
Why is there a surge of foreign applicants to adopt kids? What about all the orphans in their own country?
They're holding out for more money.

Is there some Chinese thing about obesity--? I mean, they're not asking for parents who are perfectly healthy.
Some friends of mine have one daughter from China. They tell us that because of his diabetes and her obesity they will probably have to look at Vietnam for another adoption.

China, please tighten those rules to bar Hollywood wannabees. And tighten them soon, before Angelina and Madonna make their plane reservations!
This is obviously in response to fat rosie's antics last week-good for the Chinese.
I don't get it. The Chicoms were so worried about over-population they implemented the one child per family law but at the same time they make it difficult for foreigners to adopt orphans? But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Get government involved (anywhere - not just China) and whatever it is you want to get done becomes more complicated, more expensive and more time-consuming.

I do not like their Communism, or particularly care for their leaders. But when we gave up on Endostatin - a side-effect-free antiangiogenesis drug - due to a few suspect technicalities, Dr. Luo persevered, offering hope for an effective and painless treatment for cancer. (FWIW in my experience I see these smart young Chinese researchers spending a good deal more time at the lab/office than trolling for girls, which Americans seem to excel at).
Based on these facts, which is the more noble society?
