When Dick Morris was asked last week on Fox News why he thought Obama is becoming such a rock star, he had a two word answer: 'White guilt'.
Morris went on to say, "I asked Clinton back in 2004 why he thought Colin Powell was such an appealing candidate. Clinton attributed it to white guilt".
Morris has a point. As Shelby Steele outlined in his book of the same name, "Because white guilt is a vacuum of moral authority, it makes the moral authority of whites contingent on proving a negative." So the rush is on to prove how 'free of racism' one is. Enter Obama.

Condi Rice's dad had to stand on his porch with a shotgun to ward off the KKK. Obama's dad was a wealthy landowner and part of the vicious Kenyatta dictatorship. Condi is a Christian, like most American Blacks. Obama was a Muslim for 25 years until his recent conversion in the left-wing UCC. Obama has nothing in common with the experience of American Blacks. He doesn't even look black to me, he looks Egyptian.
"Come on Dick...where was the "white guilt" when Swann and Steele lost?"
Generally not a condition conservatives suffer from. "White guilt" is a symptom of liberalism. I do believe that is why these liberals get behind empty suits like Obama.
How does he sleep at night being half-white?
White guilt - has been changed by the informed to White's realization of being scammed.
Only in America is slavery which ended in America at the end of the Civil War, still used by some as justification for claiming "victimization leading to welfare dependency" for another 6 to 10 generations AFTER THE FACT.
In contrast - one should look at the outcome experienced by other ethnic groups coming to America as virtual slaves like the Chinese brought in to build the Western Railroads, or the destitute immigrants from almost ANYWHERE in the world whose 1st or 2nd generation children are almost certainly college graduates or skilled contributors to society - rather than making up a disproportionate percentage of our dependent or criminal class.

Does this mean Obama is feeling guilty about being white?
In other words, if you do not support Obama for President, you are a racist. If he is the nominee, look for the MSM to label the Republican candidate, indirectly, a racist for any opposition to Obama.
Because Oprah endorses him! That's why. ;o)
And as a result of your absent guilt, you would never vote for this socialist p.o.s.
Nor would I.
P.S. Keep up the good work.
And of course, non white guilt oriented black candidates are hated by the Left. I can't wait for some hard core black far Rightist to run for president some day. I will relish the Left's reaction.
because he doesn't look white and he's got 50% black blood!!! man, don't those racists teach you anything? LOL!
Is there any Black guilt in any of this?
White guilt is only a factor in the case of black candidates of the Left. Black Rightists are hated even more than white Rightists are by the Left.
Your analysis is exactly on target. My liberal sisters and brothers-in-law feel so smug for voting for minorities who are whacko on their policies. I loved Ken Blackwell because of his policies and his character, but I am smart enough to make a distinction. Voting for a person simply because of the person's gender or race is stupid, but Libs feel good about themselves if they vote for a PC minority. There will be many whites who fall for this "white guilt" garbage. The Dems will count on it. In fact, I bet that Obama got a lot of this in his IL election.
I'm proud to say that I have no "White Guilt".
Exactly! Also, we should ask why black conservatives are so demonized.
You have to understand that is exactly why the liberal feels and views Obama as a great candidate? I however, have grown up, and have a hard time understanding such juvenile logic, if you can call it that. This guilt however does not apply to black and minority candidates who have an (R) next to their name.
Be cause he's black. Black, black, black. Look everybody, a black senator.
We need know nothing else. Elect him !!! Imagine our collective national pride !!!
That roll is backwards
