"Planned Parenthood is shrinking," said Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League. "Though it still operates the nation's largest chain of abortion facilities, Americans are rejecting Planned Parenthood and its agenda as more and more of its clinics are closing across the United States." American Life League's exclusive new study shows that the number of Planned Parenthood "health" clinics has plummeted to its lowest total in almost 20 years.
"In our study," explained Sedlak, who leads American Life League's effort to expose the true nature of Planned Parenthood, "we found the organization has 817 'health' clinics. The number of 'health' clinics is the lowest it has been since 1987." The rise and fall of Planned Parenthood clinic numbers can be seen in the following table:
1987 816 "health" clinics 1990 879 "health" clinics 1995 938 "health" clinics 2000 875 "health" clinics 2005 825 "health" clinics 2006 817 "health" clinics The number of Planned Parenthood "health" clinics has dropped from 938 in 1995 to 817 today a reduction of 121 clinics in 11 years, an average of 11 "health" clinics per year. (Planned Parenthood also operates 42 "express" clinics that have no exam rooms and are basically retail store fronts. These facilities are not included in the count of "health" clinics.)
"This latest study shows that people are rejecting Planned Parenthood all over the country," said Sedlak. "Americans, whom we have supplied with the truth about this organization, simply do not want Planned Parenthood in their communities. It is time elected officials got the message and stopped giving hundreds of millions in taxpayer money to an organization that is clearly losing public support all across the nation."
through the Intercession of Our Lady of Guadlaupe, we ask that more of these clincs are shut down until no abortions are performed in the United States at all.
BUMP
I have not given to United Way ever since they turned their back on the Boy Scouts.
Better yet, don't give anything to United Way. Or the Red Cross. Give to the Salvation Army or some deserving charity/mission of your own choosing.
Graphic warning!
**I have not given to United Way ever since they turned their back on the Boy Scouts.**
Good decision!
I think it is better to make the donations directly to the Charities of your choice, therefore letting the money bypass the legalistics and skim crew at United Way.
Exactly!!!!
Ping!
I bet they are still booming in the black communities since the founder of Planned Parenthood was a racist that hated blacks and would have loved to see them all dead. (from what I read anyway)...
I suggest the following, its fun to do every few weeks. Call PP, tell them that you understand that they help with family planning and that you would like help planning a family of twelve. Turns out, they don't do that kind of planning.
Lol! You're not from South Park, Colorado are you? :P
The official list is apparently no longer available because of spamming but here's a news release from last year with some company names.
You also need to be aware of a little trick many businesses do. They don't contribute to controversial liberal groups directly. They give their money to a charitable trust with a board of directors that then give to groups like Premditated Butcherhood.
Also, after a little incident with Target/Hudson-Dayton a few years ago, I also don't trust their promises to stop contributing to such groups. What they do is answer the protestors that they've stopped giving when, in actuality, they simply redivert the money to similar causes. The pro-lifers think they've accomplished something so they stop boycotting when, in actuality, they're still dirty.
That's why I still boycott companies like Target, Olive Garden, Wells Fargo and American Express whether they are on the official list or not. Would you do business with a child rapist just because he promised to stop raping children?

Sorry. Here's the link above.
re: If you could ever dry up their corporate funding, they'd close more than half.
It is not just the corporate funding that needs to be dried up. The federal government gives Planned Parenthood a large portion of its funding. PP does a shell game with the money, claiming to provide "health services" for women. So, whether taxpayers like it or not, our tax dollars subsidize the evil deeds that Planned Parenthood perpetrates.
