Lab in lacrosse case found many DNA sources (DUKELAX)

A private laboratory hired by the prosecution in the Duke lacrosse case failed to report that it found DNA from multiple males in the accuser's body and underwear, according to a defense motion filed today. The lab, DNA Security of Burlington, found that the DNA did not match the three defendants, their lacrosse teammates or anyone else who submitted their DNA to police, including the accuser's boyfriend.

The new evidence emerged in thousands of documents handed over to the defense in October.

HERE, Nifong has avoided figuring out whose semen this is. He has not figured out, or even tried to figure out, who produced the 5 semen stains in her panties and the semen in her anus. The people who produced these samples could be the rapists. Nifong can not have it both ways. Either he proves that these semen donations were consensual, and to do that he needs to figure out who produced them, or he needs to dismiss the charges.

And the problem with that here, is that the presence of semen from 5 different men would imply that she may not know the names of all or any of them (as in, she turned 5 tricks that night)

By now one would assume you had learned your lesson about jumping to conclusions about public lynchings after the spectacular DukeLax Rape Hoax train wreck. But here you are again ready to string up the Carey Acadamy and an alleged wrongdoer before the investigation is complete.

Here's another definition of cringe. Ruth S. not learning her lesson about jumping to conclusions. In this morning's column about Cary Academy all that was missing was the "we know you know" line.

Don't let up. Make sure and find out and publish the teacher's name and address so people can show up and bang pots. Maybe you could arrange for a "wanted" poster to be spread all over town. Since the Duke Gang of 88 took off on one of their students maybe turnabout is fair play and a group of CA students can make all kinds of unsubstantiated claims about their teachers. Make sure to uncritically publish every rumour you get your hands on. Make sure that the community is so polarized that getting at the truth takes two years.

You know the playbook. Go to it.

In fairness, you DO only have my side of the story which is more than a judge and jury of my son's peers every got to hear thanks to local L.E. and a system that allowed what local, municipal L.E. referred to as a 'silly case, that would go away' to proceed into a total farce of what our jurisprudence system is supposed to stand for and the guidance of a guy just going through the motions of his job here locally.

You only have my side of the story, it is absolutely true. I now have the satisfaction that my $20,000 defense was heard by someone. Thank you all for putting up with my holier-than-thou meager attempt to bolster more support for the families elsewhere who may be facing the same disaster from their "local L.E. and Court system". I hope some of you will learn from the experiences of others, and that you encounter L.E. of the kind we have posting on F.R. We might have stood a chance, had we.

BTW - my daughter attends there in middle school. The problem teacher was in the high school so we have no direct information about him. I did get the e-mails sent out by the head of school, however.

Actually, when I think about it, you don't have to take my word for it, I do have a guardian ad litem's report that says any claims made against me were baseless. Send me your mailing address and I'll send you a copy. Then you won't have to "take my word" for it anymore.

Nifong believes Crystal. She claims to have been gang raped during a period of celibacy on March 14, 2006 by white men using racist slurs.
DNA evidence implicates multiple rapists.
Nifong is doing nothing to find the real rapists .
They are free to strike again in Durham.
If we are to believe Nifong-all black women in Durham could be at risk from this gang.
Where is the outrage ?
Where are the community activists demanding that Nifong protect the women of Durham from the gang of racist rapists?
OJ did more to find the real killer than Nifong has done to find the real rapists.
