I agree, but if they "must" pose with him, crossed fingers helps.

Pretty sad when a US Senator has to photoshop troops into his own photos, in order to be pictured with any troops at all.

They'll find a group somewhere for a photo-op. If they can't any--Kerry will find a commander who will order his troops to pose.
After all, Kerry is absolutely shameless anyway.

Not that I know any of this as a civilian, but don't the officers issue orders for troops to pose with such dufii as JFK and Hillary!?

I thought Kerry's favorite Christmas spot is Cambodia...

Wouldn't it be ironic if Kerry missed his flight out, and he would end up being "stuck in Iraq?"

Hopefully the troops will tell him they are to busy protecting Iraqis and doing their jobs, they don't have time to make him look good...
Besides, he said if you don't graduate college then your stupid and can be in Iraq....the troops don't have time for him, and they are way to classy to be anywhere around him...
He isn't anyone important, such as Rummy, the President or Condi or Rush or Hannity....he's just a senator and that isn't anything important....

Great idea....I'll e-mail a few cousins.
MY guys a few years ago had a permanent order from me to NEVER get into a photo-op with anyone not in their chain of command.......and since I'm from MA....to never even talk to Teddy and John. Just walk away....say nothing.

I am so sorry for your loss, I have no idea what it is like to lose a child, but I do want you to know how grateful my family is to your son and to you his mother. Freedom is not free, it is paid with blood from wonderful Americans like your son.
To: debbieargel
If Skerry DOES get any photo ops with the troops, the pictures should be scrutinized VERY carefully re the troops to see what shenanigans they are up to during the actual picture.
Also, how do we make sure Skerry was actually there?
I mean, if we could fake a moon landing in '69 just think what someone could do today with digital photography. ;^)

I'm so sorry about your son. I didn't notice that the first time I read this. My heart hurts for you and other parents who have sacrificed their sons for America.

Love to see him get what Beelzeblubber got from vets at the Vietnam Memorial when he tried to address them during Memorial Day in his first year of office (booing and backs turned) but I'm fairly certain that the troops have been "briefed" on "conduct shown to a senator" by the brass (we were at least in Da Nang when Clinton mentor and anti-war activist, segregationist William Fulbright visited there in '67).

How dare you people insult a brave hero like John F. Kerry who left at least one of his fingernails on the field of battle.
Ok, so the fingernail loss was a re-enactment. But you still cannot doubt his bravery. He was forced to eat foie gras above a temperature of 85 degrees F. Do you realize how dangerous that is?
To: debbieargel
Better to be "stuck in Iraq" than stuck with Kerry in Iraq!
Keep up the good work, Deb.

This is probably a good idea, since any picture of Kerry with the troops would be filled with middle fingers, bronx cheers and bare asses.
It would take a week to photoshop all of them out.
