The President and First Lady spent the weekend at the White House attending church as usual and also attended Christmas in Washington an annual Christmas event which was taped on Sunday.

Today the President and Vice President met with the Secretary of State at the State Department to discuss the situation in Iraq.

Over the weekend the outgoing Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld made a farewell visit to the troops in Iraq.

Sleep deprivation got me good after work tonight, and my little "nap" lasted almost 3 hrs. .. LOL. Now, getting a snack, watching Da Bearz, and starting what's left of my evening, with hopefully some work on the jacket I'm trying to finish for my Mom.

Love seeing our Braveheart, Rummy .. total class and graciousness til the end. How I miss him already. He's one-of-a kind.

Did y'all know that Rummy doesn't sit at a regular desk when he's working? He has a standing desk, and is standing for hours a day. Pretty astonishing at that age ... he's in such great shape. That would kill my knees.
