Airport's trees stoking "war on Christmas". (SEATAC Update)

The departure of Christmas tree displays at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport — the Port of Seattle's response to a local rabbi's insistence that an electric menorah also be put up — is accelerating into an international spectacle in the so-called "war on Christmas."

And that is not what Rabbi Elazar Bogomilsky wanted.

"I am devastated, shocked and appalled at the decision that the Port of Seattle came to," he said Sunday. As news coverage about the airport's trees spread from CNN to ABC to the Paris-based International Herald Tribune, Bogomilsky on Sunday began to receive hateful messages from people holding him responsible for the removal of the trees.

You seem to think that what *Man* dictates is more important than GOD's word?

Easter Sunday is far more important than Christmas as a religious holiday in the Christian faith.

Christmas is suppose to be a season that people will reflect on Jesus's Birthday and will bring goodwill, giving of there time and gifts to people who have little or nothing...

Christmas should be in everybody's heart not one day or one month a year but everyday. Feeding the homeless, giving to charity, bringing smiles to children all over the world who look forward to Christmas by the gifts you give them is honoring Jesus's teachings, so maybe a Christmas Tree is a message of Love to the world that Jesus Christ wants us to share the meaning and giving of Christmas.

But since we are talking technicalities A Christmas Tree is Secular.

I have not been knowingly on her site -- I do use the online talmud as I find passage in matthew and luke that are quotes from the talmud -- example the passage about Korban. example the passage were christ dpeaks about looking upon a "Yukina" greek word tmistranslated as woman -- it is actually here a young underaged woman -- chist in the passage is blasting the wirings of certain practices I will not mention that are recorded in the mishnah and the talmud. The new testament has references to probably 100 passeages in the mishnah and talmud that it openly condemns but as we are not jewish most of it flies right over us.

The talmud also unwittingly documents christ and his ministry mary as his mother joseph as his father that he had disciples went to eqypt performed mircables and signs asnd wonders died at age 33-34 -- this is the oldest text outsied the bible that comfirms these things (and these are all recorded by first century hostile witnesses

further the talmud bears witness that Jesus was the christ and lay out suscinctly that after the destruction of jeruslam that no one else could be the messiah

and finally it lay out the history mof modern talmudized judasm and its overthrow by rabbi Johanan and the efforts of him and his disciples to talmudize the church -- efforts that are recoeded in the book of acts and the epistles and verified later by Origen in his epistle to africanus

Regardless of what has been said this is the authentic talmud -- and written in the talmud is a death sentence to all who reveal this book to gentiles and it states there because if they read these writings they will hate and seek to kill us

This was actually prophesied by Jacob to Levi father of the the levites and priests and to Simon the father according to the talmud of the scribes -- that they hatred and and anger would create something that would cause all of isreal to stink before all nations and would cause the nations to gather to destroy them --in the new teetament this prophes is spoken of as the great tribulation and the battle of armageddon

Now there are a group of jews that do not obey the talmud ther are called keratites SP? there are 33,000 in israel and several thousand in california but they are hated and persecued by talmudic jews and treated as a disease and cancer -- these follow and obey the talmud and the tanakh the five books of moses and the prophets

I can't think of any sites with comprehensive Jewish commentary. If you're going places which discus Jesus in the Talmud, witting or unwitting, you're not visiting Jewish sites. I'd suggest a local library, school, or religious institution

Really? I have done some searches and didn't find a connection with this guy and the ACLU--nor the lawyer, although there may be several Harvey Grads. The one in Seattle is a criminal lawyer.

Certainly any one who would spin God's word and God's commandments does so at their own risk.

And really this is why increasingly people who truly hunger for God are seeking Him directly without the man ordained priests and filters in between

This is why people are increasing reading the bible for themselves uncapped and unfiltered

And this is why increasingly people are becoming dissatisfied with process food preaching and homogenized pasteurized and sterilized -- people are more and more demanding they get the real thing and are less in less inclined to be slaves to a certain church or denomination

There is a strong resurgence of home meetings -- and in particular independent home meetings.

Well yes it is unfortunate to see what has happened in certain religious denominations and the church on a global basis. You can't reach people with hypocrisy's and hell and damnation, you can share the hope the love, forgiveness and eternal salvation with people who do not know Jesus Christ.
