The departure of Christmas tree displays at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport — the Port of Seattle's response to a local rabbi's insistence that an electric menorah also be put up — is accelerating into an international spectacle in the so-called "war on Christmas."
And that is not what Rabbi Elazar Bogomilsky wanted.
"I am devastated, shocked and appalled at the decision that the Port of Seattle came to," he said Sunday. As news coverage about the airport's trees spread from CNN to ABC to the Paris-based International Herald Tribune, Bogomilsky on Sunday began to receive hateful messages from people holding him responsible for the removal of the trees.

All of these stories teach us that God is no respecter of persons. Despite the fact that the Romans were hated oppressors of the Jews, individual Romans were faithful, something that surprised even Peter.
Somethings were not so evident in *Torah* to the apostles when it came to Jesus Christ.
It is sad what is happening to religion in this country, all religions, they are causing more anger and strife then they were ever meant to. Religion should be a source of peace and good will, but now all we ever do is argue over it. It is sad really. Thank you left wing loonies.

Because a Christmas Tree is secular and a Menorah is a religious display and IMO they would not put up a Menorah because they might then have to put up a Nativity display
Now we are parsing words. This is a Christmas tree that we are talking about here. Also, by the way, I don't see any problem with a nativity display either. Big deal (and I'm Jewish).
This whole thing has gotten out of hand.
When I was in college, my frat was across the street from the CHABAD House, (The jerks who sued about the Christmas Trees). One prank we pulled was to put a sign out of their window, that said "SU", so when combined with their sign, became SUCHABAD HOUSE. It is time to call my brothers into action!

I am not well versed in Talmud but I believe that Torah and Jesus Christ teachings that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves is what GOD is concerned with and when all is said and done I don't believe that GOD will care for what is written in the Talmud or the Koran or any other teachings that is not in his written word.
But a Christmas Tree is secular it does not matter what anyone calls it it's not a religious Symbol.
A Menorah and the Nativity is religious and yes it would be wonderful if we could display both as it would truly signify a wonderful message to the world.

A Christmas Tree is a Pagan symbol which was adopted by Christians for their Christmas holiday.
It's not a "Secular" symbol, it's a symbol which Christians adopted for their holiday.

You are correct The Christmas Tree is derived from a Pagan holiday just as the Easter Bunny is and Halloween.
Since most Christmas Trees are actually Scotch Pines or Douglas Fir's I would say they are *Trees* and they are celebrated at christmas time signifying the season of gift buying and decorations. My point is a Christmas Tree does not signify anything in Christianity unless Jesus was really born under a Scotch Pine and not in a manger.

It's a tradition that came later but it's called a Christmas Tree for a reason. Because it's a symbol of Christmas.
Replacement theology is the backbone of Christianity. It wasn't until the 19th century that the Dispensation movement (John Darby) came onto the scene. It's main objective was to destroy the Catholic Church.
