I think he would have gotten Al to say "yes" if he had just double-dong-dared him to run.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
I would have puked if I had heard that.

If someone needs "a phone call" to be convinced to run for President, it isn't going to happen. The egomaniacs with any realistic shot in the major parties sure don't need any convincing.

Personally, I'd like to see Gore run. He may be a better choice on the Dem side than any of the other hopefuls. And it would serve the useful function of getting him to shut up. If he can't even get a Dem Congress to adopt Kyoto (which he won't), then greenhouse gas will quickly become a nonissue.

Good grief, it sounds like Lauer is going off the deep end. Thanks for the report.

Geez.... sounds like poor Matt was creaming his pants! Over Al Gore no less! How pathetic the MSM is. Is there not one voice for objectivity and truth anywhere in the entire structure?

Wasn't there a Rolling Stone cover on that?

I hate to admit it, but I saw him on Oprah yesterday. She didn't call him the saviour. She called him Noah. It was real sickening.
