Anyone else notice how old and senile the senior members of this committee appear to be? I wouldn't trust any of them to park my car.

Gates off handedly confirms that Condi and Rummy weren't talking to each other. Now he's saying "I'm not Rummy."

LOL! But if Sessions really supports him, he can't be that bad, can he?

I give no quarter to the enemy, especially when they hide in mosques, behind women and children, wear no uniform, and murder innocents.
And "craters" in Tehran are laughable, as if Americans who just surrendered Iraq to OBL and the pacifists party on Nov 7th would allow that? Never.
Even Israel caves to the Islamic Cults by continually giving away land, when your population cannot fight, leaders will not fight.
No more icky war on TV.

You have to give George Soros credit for deciding to buy Obama, at least he is getting a young 'Live One" for his money.

Thuggery is not civil war.
And another dumbass question on troop levels. Asked and answered! Troop levels are the judgment of the Generals on the ground!

I didn't hear Gates' comment re: the threats posed by Saddam and Osama. But I would think that Osama -- not the man, but his nutcase followers -- are, indeed, a much bigger threat to us than Saddam or his followers. The Baathists can't compare in either strength or power to al Queda. In addition, aren't Saddam and Osama both merely symbolic at this point? We've got both of them holed up, one under death sentence, the other possibly already dead.
I would argue that both of them are "yesterday." We need to be looking at the current situation, as well as our collective future, with new eyes, toughness, and pragmatism.

Correct. He does not make the decisions, He works for Bush and can be tossed at any time.

They need him to get confirmed. It is all theatrics.
To: Kakaze
It would also be incorrect. We have lost more than 3100 troops in the GWoT. And the number of wounded is approaching 23,000.

Collins should just change parties.
AGAIN! Troop levels are left up to those on the ground.
