Washington, DC United States senator from Illinois, Barack Obama, seems to be exploring options at taking a run for the 2008 presidency. A recent Zogby poll between John McCain and the Hawaiian native has Obama narrowly trailing the maverick by only a few percentage points, 38% to 41%.
I kind of thought Hilary was a lock for 08 until I heard about this poll, said Obama. I guess a lot of people dislike her, but I cant imagine why. We are going to explore our options.

"'Most of my experience has been in the legislative and judicial arenas. However, to say I have no executive experience is ludicrous. I was president of my class in the 10th grade, captain of the yacht club, PTO president at my daughters school, and first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. I rest my case.'"
And there you have it, and it was not from scrappleface.

I guess a lot of people dislike her, but I cant imagine why. That statement in itself disqualifies him.
Because Hillary is the Witch Queen. And while of course you can't say that Barack we at least hope you have some imagination.

Obviously no imagination and also not in touch with reality.
Or he's a liar.

I tend to agree. Not that I want Obama as president but executive experience is a feeble way of saying "You can't be president unless you have been president before."
Our Constitution carries no such requirement. I think it's time we elected someone who has less "executive experience" and more "real life experience" anyway. Obama's been a politician his whole life. He doesn't fit my idea, thank goodness.

I would say he's rather witty, and has a dry sense of humor. That could be dangerous on the campaign trail.

Surely this isn't really what he said, is it? It is beyond words!

Of course he would scoff at it --- he knows he is nothing but a "youthful face" and a minority at that. Those are his ONLY credentials and "qualifications" to even stick his nose into the Presidential tent. But the Dems have long had a problem with presenting a candidate that is truly qualified to be President and Commander-In-Chief.
Hitlery?? God help us.

Someone please tell me why Obama is thought of as the next best thing for the presidency. What experience does he have?

Any executive would be mostly embarrassed by this resume...at least as the single offer of proof of ones suitability for an executive position.
