So is this the continuing search for the longest thread? 
Been there. We learned that "The End of the Internet" is posting #65534.
Since then the Admin Gods have advised we shouldn't really go over 5-6k posts, so we move to a new thread every month (at which time we've typically accumulated 4-6k posts). Normally it's a ZOT thread, so we pave the troll even deeper, but thanks to a paucity of Zot threads of late we took it one step up and moved into an Admin "Control Freak" Mod thread!
