Today BBC aired a (30 minute)radio documentary on the conservative comedy movement in America, for which I (Julia Gorin) was interviewed. It will be archived for exactly one week starting today. To listen, click here The Comic Battle for America.

It's very interesting and very good. Too bad that the BBC had to add a few liberal commentators.

Thank you. Sometimes we don't appreciate the fact that "Main Stream Media" isn't just the nighthly Network News broadcasts (with their ever-declining audiences), it's also Jay Leno, Dave Letterman, SNL, etc. Lately I believe that the "entertainment" side of the entertainment divsions (which also run network news) have as much to do with spreading the liberal gospel as Brian, Katie or Charlie.

Absolutely. Probably bill clinton got himself elected by such antics as playing the saxaphone on TV. In fact, he still uses a picture of it on one of his standing official government publicity web sites:

Old fashioned (conservative) commedians have a hard time getting media exposure these days because
1) they don't swear,
2) they don't use the N word frequently, and
3)they are funny

Conservative comedy. Isn't this Limbaugh's role?
