I prayed for Chris several times today before receiving based on the original prayer request. I can't imagine the pain his wife and children must be enduring through such a sudden and inexplicable loss. I will continue to pray for all of them in the months ahead that God have mercy on them and that someday they can all be reunited again in a place with no sorrow or sickness.

I call on God to let Chris see the Hand of God holding his family. May he be comforted, and may the evidence of his peace be given as a gift to his wife and boys.

Father, I have seen your miracles, but I also know that all must someday come to You. In this time, Father, I ask a sign from You, a gift of love and hope to Sherry and Chris' boys, be given. I ask it, that they may see it, and know You are God, and may feel the Love that created Chris and led him home will also guide them through the years to come.

Let them know beyond the shadow of doubt that even in this night, God is with them - and will be with them always.

I ask it humbly, in Jesus name...

Oh, Our Gracious Lord, Our God, so merciful and mighty in the midst of our sin and despair and all the effects of the fall, show Thyself on behalf of this family for good out of such evil things. Receive their every tear and answer with a drop of refreshing from above for every one. Extend please safety for all those traveling and a settled peace to those who could not come. Make it all better, dear Righteous Father, and openly display the blessed hope of Jesus Christ to all through these and in these circumstances. Be the Comforter as Thou surely art, and be the Guide through this terrible storm. May they all meet again on the far blessed shore, because of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus, amen.

Dear Chuck, this is a wonderful testimony. You had faith enough to give it to Jesus against all odds. Now, it's time to give Him the glory for what He has done.
