I'm an independent, but vote like I'm a member of the GOP in the general elections. It's called picking my battles, something that seems to be unheard of for some around here.

My Congressman, Jim Sensenbrenner just got a demotion. I will never forget the night he had a showdown against the Senate about the border.

Now he's gonna get to sit in through tons of investigations. It's about all we're gonna be hearing for the next 2 years, to make sure the GOP is more tarnished before 2008. You'll be seeing lies treated as truth, splashing across the headlines, day in & day out.

I'm a Republican and vote like a conservative. I refuse to encourage any moves to the left by the GOP--if we don't hold them accountable, who will? But during this election, I was fortunate enough to have relatively conservative candidates for whom I could vote...unfortunately, though, they lost.
