KSFO's Melanie Morgan says illegal aliens are working in Nancy Pelosi's vineyard
Hannity and Colmes ^ | 11-13-06 | dfu

NOTE: if anyone saw the show, please report

YOUTUBE PRESENTATION WITH INFO ON HER VINEYARD AND HER FAILURE TO HIRE UNION LABOR

I don't know if it is on the FOXNEWS site yet, but something potentially very important occured on Hannity and Colmes tonight.

KSFO's Melanie Morgan was a guest and exposed Nancy Pelosi, speaker in waiting, as employing illegal aliens to work on her wine vineyard in the Napa Valley.

If the charges are proven, how can the House possibly allow Pelosi to become speaker? Draining the swamp, will mean draining her.

As you might recall, Linda Chavez had to withdraw her nomination as Labor Secretary after it was revealed that she had hired an illegal alien in the 1990s.

FReepers, make the mainstream media cover this.

KU04 "THE WHITE HOUSE IS OURS FOR THE TAKING IN 08"

oldbill When the President's first action after defeat is to push for amnesty and when the co-author of the Hagel-Martinez amnesty bill is appointed the new chairman of the RNC, it looks like they don't want it very much.

Presidente Bush is not included in "OURS". By "OURS", I mean the base - FReepers. This amnesty is an abomination and I am hoping the Republicans left in DC are on the right side of the issue. The only people in the country who might secure that border are conservative Republicans. Newt, Tancredo, my Congressman Graves, my remaining (r) Senator Kit Bond. We have to find a conservative to carry the flag back to the Southwest in 08.

Perhaps.

But thats just it, we have to GIVE stories like this legs. Especially since they are just leaving the starting blocks. The Dems went rabid every time the tiniest thing was revealed about a conservative. Maybe there is a thing or two we could learn from them about harping and never letting up. They will really reveal themselves when attempting to defend their wrongdoing. You know, give them a taste of their own medicine.

We need to always keep them defending themselves for the next two years.

assets to be worth $25 million to $102 million last year, with liabilities of $6 million to $31 million. Assets are reported in broad ranges

So, then, they could have 25 million in assets and 31 million in liabilities, right?

Actually that was a pretty common price last year (2005).

Chardonnay: $2,400-$2,900
Sauvignon Blanc: $1,800-$2,100
Semillon: $1,800-$2,100
Pinot Gris: $1,900-$2,200
Cabernet Franc: $3,900-$4,500
Cabernet Sauvignon: $3,900-$4,800
Merlot: $3,000-$3,400
Petit Verdot: $4,300-$6,000
Petite Sirah: $3,100-$3,500
Pinot Noir: $3,000-$3,500
Sangiovese: $2,100-$2,300
Syrah: $2,700-$3,100
Zinfandel: $2,900-$3,300

This year because of the glut of grapes the prices will go down.

2005's Big Crop Causes 2006's Grape Glut

BarrelFillerManX-w.jpg

Harvest report: Hundreds of acres of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot will not be harvested this year because of three converging forces, one of which is a huge surplus of wine that could cause a collapse in prices within weeks, say wine industry experts.

In interviews with winemakers, brokers of bulk wine and grape growers, it's clear that the current "wine glut" is one of the worst the California industry has faced in years.

Similar surplus situations have occurred in the past. There were wine surpluses in California in 1985, 1992 and 2001, and Yountville winemaker Mitch Cosentino of Cosentino Winery, who remembers them all, says the current glut could be the most damaging to growers and wineries -- and potentially beneficial for the consumer in the short term. During most wine surpluses, the average quality of wine improves while prices decline.

Gluts and shortages come around cyclically and the present glut, affecting mainly red wine grapes, has growers fearful they'll be hurt most. Just four years ago, average prices for Napa Valley Cabernet grapes were between $4,000 and $4,500 per ton range. Today spot prices for the same grapes are close to half that figure and falling.

Of course it is entirely possible she will get top dollar because of her political connections. Oh that's right, she is a Democrat. They are on a clean-up-corruption-cycle. Uh huh.

A few weeks back we bought a ton of beautiful merlot grapes for $1600. Very reputable, long time, viticulturist that we purchase from every year. $4000 p/ton seems awfully high, but, I'm no expert.

They sold an 8-acre vineyard on Skellenger Lane in Rutherford last year for $1 million to $5 million, according to her disclosure form. ...

and an ownership stake in the Auberge du Soleil resort in Napa Valley valued at $1 million to $5 million. ...

The couple estimated their total assets to be worth $25 million to $102 million last year, with liabilities of $6 million to $31 million...

Are these disclosure forms or guesstimation forms?

Shouldn't a disclosure form actually disclose information? Or is this, regardless of what the rules are, an example of Nazi Pelosi's honest and ethical congress?

Democrats: The most corrupt, unethical, evil, and criminal people on the face of the entire planet. And that includes Bin Laden's, North Korea's, and Iran's (to name but a few) group(s).

See post 126

Also, this is the Napa Valley. In Lodi-Woodbridge area they are in the low hundreds, while Napa stays up in the thousands.

In the last few years, California wines have been taking top prizes leaving the French waving wine-stained white flags...

Ha! The Walmart people dictate the price, and always get the seller to come down in their prices.

They are tyrants towards their vendors.

But for Poliski, they may capitulate. After all, they have in common no union workers.
