He's a likeable guy and was a great mayor, but he'll never get the Republican nomination.

We don't need ANY northeastern liberal republicans to run for president.

It is RINO's like Giuliani that are RUINING our party and costing us elections.

We need to do like Ronald Reagan and clearly distinguish ourselves from the demonrats, NOT become more like them (pro-abortion, pro-gay, anti-gun, etc.).

Has he seen the light regarding at least 2A?

Trusting a gun-grabber to suddenly have a sort of "jailhouse" conversion to what has ALWAYS been right (our 2nd Amendment Rights - UNINFRINGED), just won't cut it.

He is a RINO, and thus can't be trusted EVER, no matter what he SAYS he now "believes", at the last hour.

The GOP wimpiness problem is partly a geographic issue--way too few gritty urban types in the ranks.

NO.

The problem is good conservative Republicans from the west and the south mainly, fought the hard fight and passed good bills in the house, only to have their spineless RINO brethren in the Senate, mainly northeastern liberal pansy-asses, send the bills to defeat.

See, it's not "gritty urban types", whatever the hell that is, that we need. It's more Southern, Western, and Southwestern (minus the RINO mccain) conservatives with guts, courage, and conviction that we need more of.

Just say NO to poll-chasing RINOs (and their ilk, liberal demonrats), ESPECIALLY northern maggots like "shitty urban type" Giuliani.

Look for him to unite the Repub party and beat Hillary by 40 states!!!

You're on tropical drugs if you think this blatant RINO from the northeast is going to excite true conservative Republicans (the base) in ANY state.

he'll never get the Republican nomination.

Never say never. During the primaries, the media's coverage of Rudy will be very favorable. And I expect a fairly large GOTV effort for Giuliani from the Democrats, similar to what they did in 2000 for John McCain (who, interestingly enough, they're now turning on).

I really think a Giuliani nomination is the Clintons' path of least resistance back to the White House.

Well, I'm not one. I like Rudy, I think I like Newt more, time will tell. One thing I know for certain, I'm really glad Frist will be gone soon. Saw him on H&C a few minutes ago and no wonder the election went the way it went...

if HE thinks he's going to run for President, he's going to be very embarassed... so much for far, right wing, conservatives. I've had it with the wimps in our party... including McCain. Whoever I vote for has to have a pair.

THIS IS BIG NEWS !!!!!!! GO RUDY!!!!

I heard a radio talk show host once say that a liberal Jew is very liberal, but a liberal Irishman (like, say, a Daley) is EXTREMELY liberal.

To like a gun-grabbing, abortion-loving, gay-supporting maggot RINO like rudy, you must lean towards being a Daley-Irishman, huh Blackirish?

I won't be surprised if he moves to the right a little.

It's O.K. to see if somebody modifies their position on some issues, but on life or death (abortion) or Constitutional (2nd Amendment) issues?

It's just as naive and stupid for someone to vote for a politically-opportunistic chamelion democrat, like hillary who will say or do WHATEVER it takes to get into office, as it is to vote for a similar piece-of-sh*t so-called republican like RINO-rudy.

Are you DAIN-BRAMAGED? Did you ride the short bus to school?

He was/is for clinton's ridiculously broadly defined, so-called, "assault weapons" ban, and he's for gun registration (proven in many countries to be a precurser to registration and confiscation).

Him being a northeastern RINO, I'm SURE there's more, but...

the above two things are all I need to know.

We MUST say no to all RINOs when it comes to ANY high office.

Let Giuliani serve as Attorney General.

Not no, but HELL NO.

He should be in NO position to effect our 2nd Amendment rights in ANY way, shape or form, even just a little bit.

Let him stay in NYC where the sheeple there DESERVE him and his ilk (like the gun-hating bloomberg RINO). RUDY FOR NYC DOG CATCHER!!!!!

His personal life is fine now.

Yeah, and he is NOW (I SUPPOSE)...

Pro-gun.

Anti-gay marriage.

Pro-life.

I'm a BELIEVER!!!

NOT.

GO RUDY, GO...

JUST GO...

AWAY.

Once a worthless RINO, ALWAYS a worthless RINO.

I saw first-hand what a fabulous job he did in turning NYC around, and 911.

What he did is OLD news, and a very SMALL part of who he is,what he believes, and God forbid, what he would ultimately do with the power of the presidency.

BRAVO Rudy on what you did way back when, but...

We can NOT afford to have a northeastern liberal republican pretender (a RINO) as the leader of our great country, EVER.

Your gun-hating, abortion-loving, gay-chumming ways may fly in NYC, but it won't fly in God's country.

Rudy polls #1 in every single state except for New Hampshire and Michigan where McCain polls #1. Who can top that one?

I'm sick and tired of left-wing push-polls trying their best to convince US that WE want a RINO like mccain or giuliani.

Unlike some dolts in our party, I'm not so naive as to believe that we can't do better, MUCH better (read that, more conservative, NOT less)

I didn't know this about Rudy.

I am totally against gun registration.

The concept of "assault weapons" is bullsh!t. Especially when I have one of these in the house and haven't "Columbined" any schools lately.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Well as far as mayor of Chicago there is no one else to vote for. But Yeah..I like Daley ...it's the best run big city in America if not the world. He's pro-American he has a kid in the Army..ripped Kerry for his stupid comment....ripped Durbin for his gitmo comments...about a month ago W came to town ....instead of asking for impeachment ......Daley took him to a South side steakhouse for a good time. Doesn't allow the homeless to overrun the city....Chicago Bears are 8-1 ....you can still smoke in bars...If more dims had the class of Daley we'd all be better off.

These things (life and death & Constitutional positions of prospective candidates for high office) are good to know if we are to have a chance in hell of maintaining a free country.

I too, have got a short AR-15 and some other firearms with plenty of ammunition for when/if the sh*t hits the fan. It's like the two fire extinguishers I have. I'll probably never really need them for anything serious, but...

It's nice to know that they are there, and I know (thanks Dad, Uncles, and Marine Corps) how to use them.

I question why you are on FR then, if you believe that a man with no regard for our 2nd Amendment rights, a true gun-grabbing bureaucrat, if there ever was one, is a good guy.
