Just breaking.

I get the feeling the power structure wants to have their own centrist party so they don't have to deal with all us annoying conseratives who demand that our political leaders have something remotely resembling core values.
I don't understand your post.
Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:
1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4. Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5. Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6. States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the state and local jurisdictions;
7. American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.

Soundin good to me.
Hmmm...sounds good, except for the last one. I think we NEED foreign alliances in a world fast moving towards globalization. We just need to be very selective in our allies.
It looks like they want to show that Hispanics can get to real positions in the Republican party and where we can get back some of the hispanic vote we lost this last election.
I actually don't really care who is the head of the RNC so long as we actively recruit good candidates for EVERY race especially those in red states, and that they utilize the same GOTV efforts as in recent elections.
They will never get on the ballot -- takes 5% of the vote and what does have to do with Oklahoma? We have two of the most conservative Senators in the Senator and four Conservative Republican House Members.
Constitution Party would only defeat some good Republicans that are conservative in this State and would add nothing IMHO! We already have a conservative Republican Party here -- Istook lost so bad because he was a bad candidate and took down the rest of the ticket. You would be better served joining effort to get rid of the straight party ballot here in OK which defeated some of our down statewide candidates.
I thought so. Thanks.
That may be true, but the platform is there, and at some point you have to start asking yourself why you should stick around with a Democrat-lite party.
It should've been Steele's, for sure.
Was it Bush's decision to appoint a milquetoast? If so, sad to say, but our president should seriously consider stepping down if he cares so little about the Republican party, and turning power over to someone who does care. (If not Bush's decision, then whose?)
I'm sick. Conservatives are circling the drain.
Tom Coburn rocks!
Yeah, but the Dims and the pubbies have fixed things in Oklahoma so third party candidates cannot get on the ballot.
Interesting. Thanks.
Looks like it. Kinda makes you want to stand up and shout, "No you MORONS... your OTHER Left..."
I think these folks are country-club Republicans looking for something to do.
I live about seven blocks from their headquarters.
Sorry....but I'm in Texas and surrounded by what? Guest workers? Actually, never mind. I've been in a really BAD mood since Tues. night.
Steele said last week on Cavuto as the head of the Republican Party it was up to the President to make the final decision.
I'm not so sure it would be the unmitigated disaster everyone says a second 'conservative' party would be. Coalition government, however, isn't pretty.
